What Customers Are Saying
The product has a mixed reception. While some customers are satisfied with the fan's appearance, ease of installation, and air circulation, many have reported issues with the noise level, quality and performance of the light kit, remote control, and wiring. Several customers have also experienced the fan malfunctioning after a short period of use. The overall consensus seems to be that this product is a disappointment, and customers may want to consider alternative options.

I made the stupid decision of buying this fan after reading the numerous bad reviews. It was by far the most attractive one to me that I had found and it was one of the only remote controlled ones that didn't have an intergrated LED light. This was important to me because I like being able to use daylight light tempature and most integrated LED fans were soft white temp. So, because of these things I felt that the fan would be worth having, even if it messed up here and there, but let me tell yo...
From Omicron 54-in Matte Black with Burnt Walnut_SLASH_Dark Walnut Blades Ceiling Fan With Light and Remote Control Included 3 -Blade
Very poor design for installation
First off I have installed many ceiling fans as a contractor. This one is by far at the top of the list of most difficult. Home owner beware. This looks awesome but to get ut up is way harder than it should be. The first issue. The fan has a remote. If you have a separate switch for the light and fan this will puzzle you. This can cannot use separate switches. You will need to chose another fan if these switcher are not in a single gang box. No where could I find any reference to this ...
Hello Chuck, thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. We really appreciate it. Your feedback is super valuable to us and I ...

It takes real talent to make something this bad
Fan - poor air flow even though rated for a large room. They say to look at the energy rating and this fan claims to move 3200 CFM. Yeah right, and what about on the other speeds? Is that 3200 at high or low? Light - Is there a light? There is this thing under the fan that pretends to be a light but it does not really put out any light at all. Very dim and in a small room 14X12 the light is pathetic. You would definitely need an additional light if you wanted to be able to see anything. And ye...
Hello, we are sorry to hear that you returned your fan. However, we do appreciate you providing us with your feedback. I will pass along your feedbac...

Receivers go bad!
Unfortunately I didn't see all the reviews about there being issues with the pairing/receivers before we purchased this fan. We paid $149. for it to only last less than a year. It is our fault that I didn't contact Hunter until right after a year had passed. After numerous emails back and forth and conversations on the phone, Hunter suggested to purchase a new receiver from their website that would cost almost $70.00!! Or purchase a new remote (once again from their website) for $23.99 and se...
Did not meet expectations.
The fan looks great. It’s pushing a decent amount of air where I have it installed. The light is pretty good. But. The lights randomly flicker off and come back on as I’ve read others have experienced. The dimming function with the remote is a little more difficult than it needs to be. I spend way too much time trying to reach a desired setting. The instructions don’t really say what to do with the remote receiver. After numerous attempts at trying to cram it into the canopy with the wiring, I ...
It's quiet like it says
I installed this fan yesterday in my 11x12 bedroom and slept with it on last night. I have installed several fans over time, this one was easy as ceiling fans go and took me about 3 hours to install, just follow instructions and pay attention to the wiring diagram with the remote transmitter. I couldn't hear any type of motor noise on low speed, on medium I could only hear wind noise so happy there. The led light is two 8 watt led screw-in light bulbs. They don't dim so it's really bright but ...
Be sure it’s not on a dimmer switch
Bought this one due to the Wi-Fi enabled versions being back ordered. Had a friend with electrical background to help install but it’s really 2 person job due to the weight of the housing and the unwieldy nature of getting remote to fit in place Once we had it all together , there was bad him as well as flickering in lights. We had just installed a dimmer switch and it was on a shared path with another light so after trying to make sure all bulbs were led dimmers and all it was still having iss...
Cannot find a replacement part
Bought a house with these fans and ended up breaking the glass dome while cleaning. Hunter makes it nearly impossible to find a replacement part; been looking for better part of two hours with no luck.
Be prepared for a lot of cussing
First off, props to Hunter for their really detailed instructions. The manual is very well done and anticipates homeowner questions at every step. Now the issues: They provide enough wire for a three foot down-rod, but if you don't need it, there's no way to stuff all the extra wire AND the remote receiver into the mounting shroud. I had to cut mine back to about 10" only. The light kit shield goes on easily but to get the fixture on properly I had to drill another hole because the screws didn'...
Meh... Ok fan I guess.
I really loved the look of this fan when I saw it at Lowes. I decided to purchase it despite it only having three blades and I was concerned with how much air it would push. Installation was pretty straight forward although the instructions left something to be desired. The fan had a slight wobble to it when I first installed it and after all of the recommended tips i.e. checking all the screws and making sure that the down rod was seated properly, I was only able to balance it out with the pro...
