Perfect Size, Quiet, & Cooling
Perfect Size, Quiet, and Cooling on Lowest Speed for a 12 x 14 and 10 x 9 space. I have always relied on Hunter fans since my first home purchase in 1982. The construction seems to be the same from the 80s and the quality is also there in the design and options. What I like the most is the quiet nature of the fan-I turn it on at night and I feel the cooling-don't hear it :) If you need a noisy fan to fall asleep-this is not a good option.

I purchased the Hunter Ridgefield II (identical to this model but incandescent) many months ago and shared in a review that all the lights had stopped working--as others have reported in their reviews of this model as well. Overall a nice fan.
Looks nice and easy install - except for the cheap screws that are supplied with the fan. The fan is quiet and moves enough air for a small to medium room. The light kit provide plenty of light - but the light tone isn't very soft. The screws Hunter provides were garbage. Got one in about 1/2 of the way and it quickly stripped out using with only a screwdriver. Took 30 minutes to get it out with pliers and then had to use my own screws to install it. These fans aren't really the best, I have 4 of these one from 2015 in bronze, one from 2016 in bronze, one and white from 2019, and one in brushed nickel from 2019, the 2 bronze ones are the five-minute versions that suck, because they are good for a while, then the blades sag, and then slow down, the other 2 are good, they are NOT the five-minute versions and blow good amounts of air without any problems. DO NOT BUY THE FIVE-MINUTE VERSION, BUY THE CURRENT NON FIVE-MINUTE VERSION.

I really like Hunter fans and they are the only ones in the house. This replaced one that was 25 years old and starting to make noise. The fan feels a little cheap but it was low priced- I hope it is as good as other Hunter fans. Installation manual was good but I didn't realize it came with 2 size downloads so I had to dismantle and replace with the shorter rod. I installed this fan a couple years ago in our kitchen. About a month ago when my wife turned on the light fixture from the wall, all the lights flashed and a loud bang came from the fixture and then nothing. This is the second fan of this size and style that are hunter for some smaller bedrooms. To start with hunter has been around awhile and have a good reputation for quality fans so i felt comfortable buying this fan. Can't find replacement light bulbs
I didn't start using my office until about a year ago, and two bulbs that came with the fan have burnt out. The max.wattage and base size are not on the unit or in the manual. I was on hold almost 40 minutes trying to talk to customer service before finally giving up. I can't find any comparable bulbs in local stores. For that reason, I can't give this fan a high mark. This is poor service on the part of the company to not even list the type of bulbs needed, and to not answer their calls.

Good fan for my bedroom
My Hunter Ridgefield ceiling fan was the last thing I installed in my recently remodeled bedroom. It is a great addition. If you want good task lighting, this is a good fan to go with.
