I bought the Regalia 2 that is manufactured by Hunter. I've been installing fans for 40 years and Hunter has been the class of the industry for most of that time. After this experience I will never buy a Hunter fan again and here's why... The glass globe is held up by a flimsy piece of plastic. The cost of the fan here locally is $159.98 a fair amount for a ceiling fan. Let's do better Hunter. Installed 14 of this Regalia Model...
I have installed 14 of this Regalia Model Fan in my homes over the course of the last 8-years. I rellay like the cabin-type wood look of the fan blade. I have them in my home at Lake Tahoe and my home in SoCal. Over the years, I have had about 4 of them be extremely noisy right out of the box. But not to worry, Hunter is a great brand... You would call, let them hear the noise over the phone, give them some coded sequence of numbered codes from the top of the fan and they ship you a new one...

I am pleased with my new Hunter Fan. I replaced a 10 year old non-Hunter ceiling fan-light which had the remote-received malfunction. I chose one this time with pull cords. I installed it totally alone with no help. I am 5'-3" tall. It was a challenge. It took about 4 hours. This product was purchased and installed indoor of a residential home. My family has always used hunter ceiling fans in their homes, and they have proved reliable for many many years. When we purchased our house we decided to install 2 brand new hunter ceiling fans. Excellent fan but terrible light kit
This is an excellent fan in both looks and function. Much higher quality build and hardware compared to another brand lowes sells that rhymes with marber freeze. It generates quite a breeze on the highest speed! Vibration is not terrible, but i havent been able to completely eliminate any wobble from it on the highest speed. They way the pull chain for the fan weaves through the light makes it nearly impossible to turn the fan on. The chain comes out of the main body of the fan, feeds through an eyelet on the light, then through an eyelet on the stem then through the end piece that holds the shade on. And these are not all in a line, they make the chain go through different angles. Very difficult to install for a name like Hunter
Once installed the fan is good but it's very difficult to install and the light bulbs will be a pain to change out. The machine screws have to be aligned perfectly before the thread will bite and go into the drilled hole. This is difficult while hanging off a ladder with sweat in your eyes. Trying to put a tiny screw into the ceiling collar that doesn't align perfectly is frustrating.
