I am going to have to uninstall this fan and return it to Lowes due to a defective light kit. I installed the Crossfield ceiling fan with bleached gray pine and white motor. I thought the fan looks good against the white ceiling. Ok. So I was reading these reviews while standing in Lowe’s and they honestly weren’t convincing. But I wanted to install the a fan soon, so I took a chance and bought this one. The not-so-good: First, the instructions say you need 7 feet from the floor to the blades but never tells you how far the blades are from the ceiling... I didn't read any of the reviews until after I ran into problems. I purchased 4 of these units, and I followed the installation instructions for the first one. Nutso Internal Design & Painful Install =Great Fan

I watched the electrician install this beast and lemme tell ya, although he was extremely patient and persevered through it all, he not happy with the whole process and hoped that was the only one he had to install for us.
