Worked for 24 hours then light quit
1st of all, we ordered this online for pick up in-store. Brought the 1st one home, opened it up and it was broken in 2 pieces and was obviously returned prior. Returned it to the store, had to do a full return and repurchase insteadnof just switching it out for a replacement. After my experience, I would not recommend a Harbor Breeze fan to anyone, especially if the low price is what attracts you. As many other reviewers have mentioned, the small light bulb that comes with this fan is very dim and cannot be easily replaced for something brighter, unless you want to waste your money. You’ll get what you pay for with lots of headaches! I would not recommend this fan to anyone! As many other reviewers have mentioned, the light bulb that comes with this fan is very dim and cannot be easily replaced for something brighter. Does the job
Replaced a likely 25 year old fan. I agree with others in that the light kit does not put out a lot of light. But at least initial quality seems to be similar to the lower end fan (couldn't find a brand name on it) fan it is replacing. Fan is quiet and puts down plenty of air. The dim light fixture is the only reason I gave it 4 stars. Although dunno what some of the comments about it not being replaceable, the bulbs appear to be available at wally world. A15 bulb with E26 base.

Love it, it’s beautiful! I had the electrician wire it so that the fan is on its own power separate from the light switch (apparently that was simple to do). So the light switch operates the light on and off only and the fan itself uses the pull cord only and independently, and does not need to have the light switch at the wall on in order to work. Lowe’s came out and had someone install my fan which they didn’t install it correctly so I had to have them come back, they give me a date to come back two weeks later and I wasn’t able to accept that after I had paid them. I had my own personal person to come and reinstall it and Lowe’s didn’t refund me for installation

Perfect Fan
Honestly, this is the best fan I have ever installed. It is super stable, literally no motor noise, sleek and perfect fit for all my bedrooms. It also was wired to be able to run a double light switch on the wall. One to control the light and the other to control the fan. Bought 1 a year ago. One year later it's still hasn't given me any issues so I bought 2 more the other rooms.

Great fan for closet
We got this fan for our closet since there's no air circulation up there. It does a nice job of moving the air, and the light is just bright enough without being blinding. If you install and hear a hum/have flickering lights, check that you're not using an old dimmer switch. We changed ours out to a newer one and everything works like a charm now.
