We got this fan two to three weeks ago. The reason for the 3 stars is that when we put the fan up, there was a smell that lasted about a day and a half to two days. The smell was like a chemical smell, not a burning smell. We were about to take the fan back when the smell finally went away. I checked the internet and it was suggested we run it constantly for a day or two to get rid of the smell, which is what we did. Other than that, the fan runs good and has had no issues since then.

Awful fan
This fan looks decent and that’s all. The design having to use a pin and two screws to hold the down rod straight so it won’t wobble is not well thought out. The blades are not at all balanced. The time and effort to put the fan together and up just to have it wobbling all over the place is not worth it. The motor is not quiet. We returned this to Lowe’s and went on the Hunter company site. Excellent air flow and bright lights. Came with lamps that look nice too. It's very quiet, and is reversible for winter/summer use and no adjustments had to be made to correct wobble. It is a very nice fan, for the cost. Simple, user friendly installation. 20 minutes tops.

Harbor Breeze Notus Bronze
Attractive fan, color and style, looks good with my Arts & Crafts style furniture. Zero wobble, lights are bright, much better than the Harbor Breeze fan this replaced. Glass globes are white, may replace with old globes that have a bronze marbling. Hardest part was the tiny screws in the canopy and light kit. Magnetic bit highly recommended. Got plenty of exercise getting up and down ladder to retrieve dropped screws.

I bought this fan recently to replace a 42" that was too small for the room. As soon as I turned it on, it was definitely more quite than the other fan, and as expected, it provided more airflow, much more. I was also delighted when I turned on the lights and it was actually providing bright light, instead of the gloomy light from the other fan. I love the looks of this fan, it looks nice in any room, we purchased 3 (living room and 2 bedrooms) and it looks great in all of the rooms. I love the reserversable blades so you can choose which color you want to use.

Ceiling fan
This ceiling fan is working great. It’s quiet and the breeze is perfect. We bought it to replace a similar one that wasn’t working anymore, so the wiring was pretty simple. However, putting the two set screws in at the top once it’s attached is precarious. I dropped the screw inside the fan and had to take it fully off and flip it upside down to get back out. I highly recommend wrapping a shirt or something around the fan to avoid dropping your screws inside.

Easy to change light bulbs
This was purchased to replace another ceiling fan. This one has more blades and more lights than my previous fan. It moves a considerable amount of air and is brighter than the other. Best part is the ability to change the light bulbs without having to remove a globe of any sort.
