Ovation is a ecent paint for the price

I bought this a month ago, hoping that I could cover the wall with one coat. I had to do a second coat, possibly because the prior paint on the wall was a deep blue color and I was using a beige to cover it up. I'm happy with the result and the second coat went on well. It took the full gallon to cover a 12'x12' room with standard 7' walls that had 2 entry doors and 2 windows that didn't require any paint. All in all it's still a decent paint for the price and I would use it again.

A Tad Pricey But.....

HUGE difference btw Ovation and the 2000/4000 series. It requires only one coat whereas the less expensive paint typically requires an additional coat.

Customizable.

This paint was great! Love that it’s customizable to any color you need no matter it being SW or BM.

Better than the SW store paint.

I know it is also Sherwin-Williams paint, but it covered much better than the paint from the Sherwin-Williams store, and is cheaper than from the SW store. Don't know why. I painted my whole interior and started with SW store paint. Switched to Lowe's SW ovation and it was better.

Cover in one coat. When on smooth and dried fast. I would use again.

Three coats of paint!

I was painting wood and even with a primer it took three coats.

I was looking for a paint that would do good in my laundry room. It was an easy paint job, but I am not a lover of the task! All I needed was a quart and it took care of my whole project. 4 COATS to cover a wall! (experienced painter)

Worst paint I’ve ever used and I’ve painted the exterior of 4 houses as well as 20+ interior rooms. It still looked splotchy after coats and required a 4th coat to cover-cream over light gray. Most cover in 2 coats. I’ve never had to do 4 coats in my life. Buy something else.

Great coverage, beautiful color

We were painting a couple of bathrooms to brighten them up & bought 1 gallon. After they were painted, we liked it so much we went back & bought enough to paint the bedrooms & living. What a difference it made. The rooms look bigger & the house is more inviting & cheerful looking. No longer a dungeon! Stale? Or did Lowes Associate Not 'Shake' It?

I was extremely disappointed in this product and I don't think I will buy paint at Lowes any more. (My Dad was a prof. house painter for a while & he taught his kids how to paint! ) I asked the Lowes associate to please shake the cans, and took a walk around the store. Were they shaken?
