Great seed. Was not covered with coatings. With drought , I have watered and am waiting for growth. Kentucky blue grass is beautiful.

The best grass seed I've ever bought, hands down!

I can't say enough good things about this product! Kentucky bluegrass germinates SLOWLY, but there is so much quality seed in this little bag. After aerating, liming, and fertilizing, I seeded my completely barren backyard with 2 bags of this (probably used too much, but oh well) and I am now seeing a rich, bright green carpet of seedlings popping up everywhere! I can't remember if the bag mentioned spreader settings (we use a Scott broadband spreader), but I would only use a setting of about 3....

Horrible service and no communication.

I waited 6 weeks to receive the product, and was consistently told it was “about to ship”. I finally canceled the order with Lowe’s and shortly after, they shipped it anyway, charging me. When it arrived it was not blue grass seed, it was fescue!

Green Grass Again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, This summer has been hard on Grass we tried keeping up with watering late in the evening so we didn’t burn it out through the day fertilizer nothing seems to help. It took about three weeks using this and our grass actually started coming back to life again with that bright green beautiful one look. We will now be adding this to our lawn treatment. The cost is very comparable to other brands and this actually works.

Yes, there is a special way and time to see it. It has to be first thing in the morning just as the morning dew is still on the grass with a light breeze that blows the grass just right and that's when you will see the hint of blue on the grass. The grass can't grow fast enough.

REVIEW OF KY BLUEGRASS GRASS SEED

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This seed is the most beautiful blend of color I have ever seen; it truly screams Kentucky. It grows and spreads new shoots quickly. One bag will cover over 1500 square feet of a new yard and 3000 if overseeding. Contains slow release nitrogen and that means less chance of it being washed away. This is my third purchase of this product as we used it on the family graveyard and it made it beautiful.
