Using for stair handrails with ballisters
I needed to repaint the porch and stair railings at our beach house on the Gulf Coast. I have painted railings by hand in the past and know that all the corners and joints make the job very tedious and slow. Needed a small airless sprayer that I didn't have to dilute the paint to use. Needed something that wouldn't overspray the surrounding world (always have wind blowing). Wanted to be able to spray at lowest pressure possible. Bought the corded version, as I will use it then it may be 6 mont...

Poorly Made
This sprayer has good performance, but the pump design is extremely flawed. Even if you meticulously clean the sprayer and store it full of pump armor, the pump will need to be replaced after spraying 20 gallons of paint. Graco conveniently offers a replacement pump at all major retailers of this product for $160. I’m sure most people buy 2-3 pumps over the lifespan of this product. Graco ends up getting close to $1000 out of most of these TC Pro sprayers. I have a $100 electric HVLP sprayer tha...
Better than a brush
I started painting indoor window sills last week. After sanding, primer, more sanding, finish coat with even more sanding, I was not achieving the smooth, brush stroke free finish I wanted. My wife got me the TC Pro, as a gift, after researching various options. I didn't want a larger system that used a lot of paint just to set up. The TC Pro had many of the advantages of the larger sprayers, such as multiple tip selection, spraying any angle, powerful enough for latex and light weight handl...

Best of My 3 Sprayers
I own an standard airless sprayer with a long hose, an high-end HVLP and now, most recently, a TC Pro sprayer...and I love it. I am DIY cabinet maker and have a small shop that converts between woodworking and a paint booth. The HVLP is great...if you don't mind thinning paints, multiple coats, and paint dust everywhere! The standard airless sprayer is great for large projects but it takes about a gallon of paint to prime the hose. So it doesn't work well for small projects. This is where...

Great Finish
I bought this to handle a big job of painting trim and doors in my whole house. I graduated to this unit from a Wagner Flexio 570 which worked good, but not at the level of the TC Pro Airless. I was trying to less over-spray and a better finish and this unit delivered on both. The reason I upgraded to the Pro was the advantage of a wider spray tip selection. Startup and clean-up take a little longer but are even more important for this technology. I have used the unit once and I will know i...

Prone to Issues/Bad Gaskets
This is the worst piece of equipment I've ever owned. It worked fine 2 out of 5 times using it, but I've had to replace multiple parts on it to get it to work properly again. The gasket in the top of the screw cap that creates the seal between the disposable cup and the machine is garbage. The little black cup attached to the screw lid that paint feeds into to create suction is even worse--its a very delicate piece and if it isn't pristine the machine cannot function. When adjusting the directio...
Final result exceeded my expectations
I purchased this sprayer because you do not need to thin latex paint or Urethane Alkyd paint (which you cannot thin). I used it to paint new cabinet doors and drawer fronts and was extremely pleased with the results. I'm glad I purchased this model because you can change the psi that you use to spray different paints. For example, I used Kilz 2 Primer and used the 8 setting for a perfect spray pattern. When I used the urethane alkyd paint, I used the 6 setting for a perfect pattern. It took a...

Excellent airless sprayer
I have used several hvlp sprayers over the years but wanted something geared towards paint and other coatings. Bought this and have been really pleased with how it works. I use mine for smaller jobs: trim, cabinets, furniture, etc. My only advice for someone that purchases one; read the manual and familarize yourself with its operation. Its not complicated, but a little knowledge can save you some possible frustration. Second, the tip that comes with it is the 515. It sprays a 10" wide pa...
Has a learning curve, but performs well.
I purchased this unit to apply polyurethane on trim for a home remodel. Originally I had tried the 360, but it turns out that Poly requires a smaller tip to atomize properly. The web site didn't really cover that, but their tech support was very helpful. I'm applying water based poly which appears white until dry, but does not show up until a few seconds after spraying. It took some time to learn how to apply without applying an excessive amount. You essentially need to watch the spray comi...

Portable, easy to clean, great results!
Needed a second sprayer for smaller projects, (also use Magnum X5), so I went with the TC Pro corded model - it's exceeded my expectations, especially after adding the 42 oz. FlexLiner kit. I'm spraying water-based latex primer and paint, and typically use 415 or 515 tips.
