Convenient but could be better

I am a diehard Google person so I chose this over the Ring Doorbell. I have two Google Home's and the Google Thermostat etc. so I kept it on brand. I do want to mention I have never used the Ring so this isn't a comparison, just what I have noticed using the Nest Hello. Voice Control for Your Nest Devices

I decided to purchase a Google Home Hub after Christmas when I saw that it was on sale and I also had a Lowes gift card to use. I've been automating my home with Wemo switches and Nest devices. Great for Seniors and Tech Savvy too

The voice recognition can be sketchy at times; it would be nice if it could be better trained liked Dragon Naturally Speaking even though that is a pain. As a virtual assistant, I like the fact it is not directly attached to a store and thus cannot “accidentally” order things on my behalf. Keeps getting better

I usually don't buy the newest gadgets, i wait awhile for the price to drop. The Google home was the exception. As soon as it came out i bought my first one. BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT BUY!

When this doorbell, it works great. But here is the problem. I bought one of these in September 2018 for my brand new house. It stopped working about two years later. I called Nest for support, and I was told "Sorry, its out of warranty, we can't help you". So I bought a replacement Feb. 3rd of 2021. That one also stopped working yesterday. Not easy

I don't know if it's the nest hub or the home app. Anytime I ask it to do something it executes the action both on my phone and the hub. If I want music playing now I have it playing on both devices, and not in sync. Speaker groups are hard to use and clunky. Executing commands to move the sound to a speaker group often ends in an error. It's hard to connect to the device and play music directly from your phone. Great hardware. Software lacks basic functions.

The device itself is great. The image the camera picks up is clear. The night vision works great. It integrates with my Google Home devices just fine. The issues are with the Nest app that is required to use the doorbell camera. Basic functions like turning down the motion sensitivity are locked behind a paywall. Fun smart home addition

Received this as a Christmas present and have been happy with it. I did the installation myself and the system for the two wires was nicer than what they have for the Ring. Cool design, lame function.

I was really excited for this. I thought, Oh great! A google tablet on a speaker base that can takes command prompts. I was duped. It is not a tablet. It does have a nice clean design.
