I recently purchased 6 Nest Protects for my 3 story home. I am absolutely thrilled with my purchase. Here are my favorite things about the product: 1. Easy to install. I'm no electrician, but the directions provided in the box made me feel like one. Turn off power, connect black to black, white to white, attach base, attach alarm. Done. Check the date of manufacture

I purchased this device after quite a bit of research. Smoke detectors are only good for 10 years after manufacture. Since this is a smart device it will stop working at 10 years. Pro’s include the ease of installation when your have the Nest app, the nightlight provided some light when it detects movement, the unit will notify us of alarms when away from home. Beware of “old” inventory sold as new
