Replacing one damaged by a vehicle incident. This model seems improved as it has a metal door frame now. It is really a nice looking mailbox and is very sturdy. My wife loved the original so I finally found it at a good price at Lowes. It arrived with no damage but upon inspection I noticed that the door had been slighlty misassembled and was scuffing the paint when closing on the box. I called and Lowes is exchangeing it for a different one. I was impressed. It is arriving within 4 days ...
High quality, unique look
Great quality in this larger steel mailbox. The hinge is smooth and squeek-free. Nice snug lid-to-box closure. Has a unique border trim around the door that makes it look like it could belong to a swanky abode. Our regular/old post won’t adequately support it so we’re now shopping for a thicker post. But I don’t mind. This mailbox is worth the extra effort.
Classy Mailbox, Easy Install, Good Price
Easy to install and looks classy with the mailbox post I purchased to go with it. It is a bit larger than my previous mailbox which is a big plus for me!

The driver left several packages in the garage and took a picture. However this item an another was never delivered and the picture did not show what was in the boxes

Frustratingly Incomplete
If you want to make multiple trips back to Lowes to keep buying more parts, this is the mailbox for you! I realize there are several methods of mounting a mailbox to a post, but why do they not include a simple wooden mounting plate with this mailbox? (Answer: Because this company is cheap and they hate their customers.) Now I have to drive over an hour (round trip) back to my closest Lowes to buy a $3 piece of wood because Architectural Mailboxes is too cheap to include one with every mailbox...

Not packaged very good. No styrofoam, just a thin cardboard box. It must’ve been dropped. All bent up on one side
