I ordered the belt driven 3/4 hp smart door opener they delivered the chain 1/2 hp non smart the cheap version ddoor opener. Its bad for lowes and inconvenient for customers.

First of all, I think you may want to know I am 74 years old, and installed it myself (with of a bit of help from my wife)! I found the installation went very smoothly. Super quiet, WiFi compatible garage door

Just had this installed and my only regret is that I didn't purchase this earlier...this system is so quiet that I can barely hear anything whenever the door opens and closes.. Connecting the system to my Google home was extremely easy adding the Aladdin app gives me alerts to whenever the garage door is open/closed

I've had this garage door opener for about a 1 1/2 years. It is installed in a middle unit townhome. It was working great for a year after it took me 3 hours with tech support to connect it to my wifi. All seemed well with 1 exception!!!

The product was seemingly just fine up until the point of programming travel limits. The upper travel limit setting would not activate. I tried numerous times and eventually called tech support. After a lengthy question/answer session and the tech walked me thru attempting things I had already tried several times "They" determined that I had a defective circuit board in the power head. Works well (with one small flaw)

I bought this garage door opener and installed it myself with a helper. The online instructions were very helpful and the installation was fairly easy (I was replacing an older model). I would rate it as somewhere between a beginner - experienced task. The one complaint I have is the release mechanism is poorly constructed. Good opener at a great value!

This Genie opener is a good value for the price. The installation went well, but feel it would have been more difficult mounting with the supplied mounting material. I had to move the mounting bracket from my old opener due to a length difference of the track, but it was sturdier angle brackets. The Bilt app instructions are very good. This thing sounds underpowered for a 3/4 hp and opens slower than my last one that was ~20 years old. However, only time will tell.
