GREAT STUFF PRO Gaps and Cracks Kit

Good at first

When I first purchased the pro gun and cans, I couldn't believe I had taken this long to get one. They were great at first, but I feel like my last 2 cans seem like the manufacturer has shorted us a thread or 2, and you can't get the can locked in before foam starts coming out. I'll be switching to Locktite.

Works great with the pro gun. Much faster/cheaper

Worked great once I figured out that the pro gun does not need the straw to work properly. The time it takes to seal small cracks was impressive once I stop using the silly straw that attached to the end of the Pro Gun. The large can went much further once I stopped using the straw and just used the can attached to the gun. Pricing is goofy for the 24 oz. can

At the time that I am writing this review, the Lowe's price for this 24 ounce can is $ 14.68. The 12 oz. can is $ 4.48. This means that 3 of the 12 oz. cans ( 36 oz. total for $ 13.44 ) is cheaper than one 24 oz. can. I don't care about convenience. I am interested in getting the most product for my money. You would think that purchasing a larger size of something would mean a slightly reduced cost per quantity. You would be wrong to think so.

Works well but expands fast

I used this to seal up some gaps around the house, and it definitely gets the job done. It expands more than you think, so I learned pretty quickly to go slow with it. Once it dries, it’s solid and really helps cut down on drafts. It can get messy if you’re not careful, so I’d recommend wearing gloves for sure. Overall, it worked exactly how I needed it to.

Great product

Excellent product. Does not over expand like the home owner cans. Amazing how much one can does. Nice to be able to come back to a partially used can a few months later and still have it usable.

Prouct works well at a fraction of competitor's $

Works well to quickly fill irregular voids. We are saving nearly $10 per can over the previous brand we were using, plus it screws on to our existing guns negating the need for new equipment.

won't seal against a gun, ruins everything

I've tried great stuff twice now and ruined two guns. it won't seal around the gun tightly so it just leaks everywhere. I tried to wrench it down and it still leaked. It's just a mess. I don't know what others are doing that I'm not, but I've used other brands and not had this problem so I don't think it's me.

Can leaked after being unscrewed from gun

I love using the foam with the great stuff gun. But..... This time when I removed the can from the gun, the foam continued to exit the can for an extended period of time. I cleaned it up with the official cleaner, but the foam leak continued. Now I have an almost full can of foarmwith a big hunk of hardened foam at the top. The instructions say that you don't need to leave the can screwed to the gun. Leaking has not happened before, and I hope that it's just a problem with that one can and...

Seal baby seal

Love the convienience and utility of the foam with reusable foam gun. Can literally go months without use and be just fine. Allows you to seal gaps and insulate awkward and difficult places.

Pro-foam is better than regular foam

Foam sealant does a fantastic job of blocking airflow in gaps and penetrations. The foam sticks to most materials, it expands and cures with humidity. The pro-foam sets faster than the normal foam. It also come in a larger volume 24 oz. vs 12 oz. The pro-gun is the way to go. The normal cans are good If you are going to spray the entire volume within 20 min.
