Single Use only

Went to Lowes in person, described what I needed to two associates, got this bottle, read the instructions, but neither the bottle nor the employees told me that this is typically single use. I just used it once along one cabinet, and the next day its unusable. Apparently you cant easily buy replacement nozzles either. Super disappointed, what a waste of money.

Mixed feelings.

My biggest beef with "Great Stuff" is the nozzle attachement which is not tight and easily unscrew causing a mess if you miss it, so always wear gloves. This "special effect" could be fixed by making the tread much more fine. Now, this "new nozzle" is even worse than the open tube: the trigger only opens the tip and you still have to push the tip sideways as before so, now you have to use two hands. I have an idea for Great Stuff: 1) provide the old nozzle replacements, like 5 of them in a plast...

Borderline scam

I've been using great stuff for a long time, and it's not something I'd necessarily call a pleasure to use. This version is no different. Voids are formed, expansion is limited, so you typically have to do a 2nd pass once dry. These, however, are ridiculously short-lived. I bought two cans and I barely got 20 linear feet of 1 inch beads. That's over a dollar a foot. I could have just bought a small roll of fiberglass insulation and been better off.

Yummy bug formula

Cool foam. I didn't think bug's ate the other stuff until I saw this green can. Thought this was the organic version and then learned it was for bug resistant foam. So hopefully they will be fooled by the other non bug foam. If you are a bug reading this, please, consume and tell your friends.

product not as advertised

If you are buying this foam because the can says it is a gray color,do not buy it ! I purchased a can to fill some voids in wood near my gray deck, and the product is not gray but the standard yellow color ! I tried to contact Dupont to tell them this issue and to get a reimbursement for the wasted money I spent and they refused my claim. Also, the advertised no drip straw does not work at all. Definetely not worth the money !!!!!

Worked just as it said!

Used this to help seal a missing wood floorboard. Easy to apply, cut easily when dried (and that was fun!). No bugs or dirt are getting in now! And loved that it was grey, not that bright yellow.

Received an expired product

Ordered this for delivery and received a product with a past expiration date. Disappointing.

Dries yellow if exposed to sunlight

This product appears to fill in the gaps around our basement windows okay but it will not stay grey in color with any sunlight exposure (turns yellowish). The dispenser attachment often popped off while applying the foam resulting in wasted material. I hope they redesign these cans and tweak the formula so the color actually stays the color that's on the label. Sure, you can paint the foam, but that's just extra work.

This is not worth buying did not come out of the straw. It came out of the where you screw the straw onto on top of the can and went everywhere, except in the holes I wanted it to piece of c*** product fire. Beware, not good at all. I got it on my skin. Cures too fast in the nozzle, too thick

Great foam, poor nozzle design. By the time an assistant cuts the nozzle and hands you the can in a tight space, the foam is already curing in the nozzle. GreatStuff needs to slow the foam cure and decrease its density so the product is functional.
