WORST WASHER EVER
BEWARE!! Bought this thinking it was a good washer. VERY BAD MISTAKE. TERRIBLE! Does not spin properly. Makes a HUGE amount of noise. Doesn’t notify when washer is done. Seems to have a prediliction for breaking down. VERY noisy. Never again will I buy this brand!! Now have to get a new washer, only 1 year after purchase! Also, the installer was quite rude. Beware!

Not sure why there are good reviews
I’m writing this as a warning. We purchased this machine and it broke right past the 1 year warranty. The inverter board went bad. $130 to fix ourselves. 4 months later door lock broke $30 to fix ourselves. It had now been 1 month since the door lock issue and it now won’t run and we are so fed up. These are true lemons and I’ve looked into it to see others have the exact same problem. don’t buy if you need it to last more than 2 years!

Worst purchase ever
BEWARE!!! I am so disappointed in GE! We have had nothing but issues with this washer. We have had it 4 yrs and stated having trouble within the first year. We have had to replace the door lock system twice, the mother board, and the detergent dispenser. The odor from it is horrible and I have cleaned the dispenser tray weekly, empty and clean the drain monthly, run self clean cycles w bleach, and leave open to dry after cycles but it still grows mold and mildew everywhere. Inverter Board and motor
Our motor burnt out due to failed communication between the inverter board and motor causing it to overheat. The repair is going to cost us over $700! We purchased this washer and dryer set in November 2023- 2.5 years ago!!! I loved the washer but with a repair cost like this we won't be buying GE washers again.

BROKE DOWN IN LESS THAN 3 YRS
I've had this washing machine for 2 years and 10 months. The door latch failed, so I decided to replace it. I tested the new door latch, and I tested the old door latch per a video I saw online, which indicated the existing door latch had failed. I installed the new door latch, and upon plugging in the machine, the new door latch failed. I now believe it is the circuit board that has failed, but I refuse to dump more money into a worthless machine.

Only lasted 2 years 1 month
I was please with the washer, it cleaned well and worked as advertised. But just a little over 2 years the door lock failed. I replaced the door lock and it failed again as soon as I powered up the machine and closed the door. Further diagenetic testing indicated that the main control panel failed. Owned Less Than 2 Years and Control Board Dead
Do not buy this washing machine. We bought it to replace our 15 year old set that was doing great, but we thought it was a good time to update. Very bad choice. Purchased on 7/9/2024 and installed.
