I had this microwave for 1 year and 4 month and it Appeared to be great, but now it won’t heat up my food. It runs but everything stays cold.

The unit I replaced was a G.E. product. It lasted 30 years. I was hoping this would still be a direct fit, but no. Use is the same as the older unit, but I didn't get a user's manual, which I need for the carbon filter part number and replacement procedure. Installation was straight forward, hangs from a bottom hinge bracket, and two bolts through the top cabinet. Decent but don't expect it to last long.
Purchased to replace same model but newer year since old one burned out. Thought it would be easy install but your designers changed the hanging bracket and the location of the screws needed to secure it to the wall and cabinet. Wasn't so easy of an install. Had to redo entire configuration. Did not make me happy. Stop moving around the hook points and the screw holes. Also not fond of the fan turning on EVERY time I turn it on. Fuse replacement after year 2
Works well, this is our 3rd unit over the years. As they get old 2 years on, they burn out fuses and use more electric energy.
quality is junk almost started a fire
Absolute junk. This is the third GE microwave of this model that I've had in four years. this last one that was replaced under warranty had some sort of an electrical fire lasting only 1 year and 2 weeks. by far the worst appliance in my home... the second is a GE dishwasher that is also JUNK. will not be buying a GE product ever again !!! i will go out of my way to avoid GE.

Easy Install, loud fan
The microwave was fairly easy to install and was a good fit as a replacement for Roper MHE14XMQ0. It performs well although I dislike the loud fan that runs whenever you microwave. I also replaced the Surface Light with a LED ceramic light, which uses considerably less power. However, the Surface Light was too bright either way.

Great but have fan & light issues
The microwave was fairly easy to install and was a good replacement for our old MHE14XMQ0 Roper Microwave . It looks great and works well. We'll definitely keep it. However, the fan is louder than expected & comes on whenever you microwave anything. The light received with the microwave used 40 watts so I replaced it with an LED that only uses 3 watts (G8 33 LED dimmable ceramic Bulb) The new bulb emits too much light. There doesn't appear to be much difference between Low & High.
