I like my tree and wanted to keep using it but the control box (with the button on it) failed after a month. The way this works is the power adapter converts AC to DC. The control box changes the polarity to change the color or flash the lights. After this fix, you can have your choice of all white lights OR all colored lights that do not flash. I only used this 3 weeks, the bottom section would no longer light up!! I had your last version of this and it lasted 7 years! This one lasted 3 weeks! I was sick so couldn't get it back to Lowes until after their Dec. 26th[their cut off date for Christmas Decoration returns]. Beautiful beginning - sours at the end.

I purchased the beautiful 7ft winterberry pre-lit Twig tree on 11/14/2021. Looked wonderful and a lot of compliments on it. To my disappointment it stopped working all together on 12/23/2021. Fancy Festive Fun!

My last, white, sparse (not bushy), pre-lit tree only half lit up, so I needed a new one. I searched high and Lowes! I ordered one of these and it had free shipping and arrived SO quickly! Wonderful tree, for the short time they worked.

Have been using the GE Color-changing pine garland x5 years and love them. Saw these trees and the matching wreath. Had 1 of the wreaths and 2 of these trees delivered...one for the front yard, one for the back, wreath for the front attic dormer window. The trees were very nice, however, one worked for1 night, one for 3 nights. Sadly, had to return both, but the wreath is still working x2nd Christmas!

Gorgeous and Heavy

Beautiful, Beautiful BEAUTIFUL!!! I gave it 3 stars because just like the Polar Bear figures the stakes are way to short. Especially since this is a HEAVY tree. Doesn't take much for it to topple over if it's not secured. I also bought a 4' rebar stake to go down the "trunk" and zip tied it after staking it down. This did the trick. Why Does Lowes sell this product

I like almost 50% of Lowes customers (who have reviewed this product) have been completely dissatisfied with this product; I purchased 2 and neither lasted more than a week. Lowes has known of this products deficiencies for over a year but continues to sell the item. One customer asked why GE would put their name to this product. To me the more important question is how many other products does Lowe's sell that they have known for a long time that 50% of their customers would not buy again.

GE Winterbery 5' and 7' Tree

Purchased both the 5' and 7' GE Winterberry for 2021 Christmas season. The 5' tree stopped working about 3 days after we put it up outside. The 7' tree failed about 2 1/2 weeks of being put up. From my testing I have determined the 'control' unit to change the display must let water or moisture to get in causing the failure. If I bypass the 'control' part each section will light up solid. Returned along with everyone else

Lights stopped working after 3 days. Called GE support and they said to keep checking back for a replacement control box. The control box is hardwired into the tree lights so there would never be a replacement control box offered. I explained that to the GE support rep and they said ok maybe I could buy different strands Of lights and put them on the tree. I said for $200 no thanks. Returned to Lowes with no issue. For the record this was not Lowes support it was directly through GE
