Meter with additional function
This meter has a very unusual function that I do not believe was designed into it. When troubleshooting a dead circuit, use this meter to ohm between the neutral and ground. If the tone is solid, the connection is NOT in the meter base. If the tone is warbling the connection IS in the base. If the tone is warbling you are NOT looking for a tripped GFCI. This saved me hundreds of hours in troubleshooting over my 10 year service career!!

Fluke leads pull apart after being stored in holde
The shipment was quick however, after using the Voltage tester for about a month. I do not like the way the electrodes slip off the leads when pulled out of their holders. I solved the problem by wrapping with electrical tape but I think you need to fix this- very cheap and definitely not Fluke quality My previous T5-1000 never had this problem because the leads were solidly attached to the testing electrodes

No DC clamp ability, low precision
If you know what you are getting, this is a good product. It's a bit frustrating that it doesn't state in the description that the clamp only works on AC current (not DC current). The Fluke website description also doesn't tell you this. If you want to measure DC current, you'll have to look elsewhere (I'm going to be getting the Fluke 179 multimeter and Fluke i410 clamp). A Must Have
I bought my first one almost 10 years ago, it's been dropped, kicked, beaten and tortured and is still working as well as the day I got it. I have 3 of these now, 1 I keep in my glove box, 1 in the kitchen drawer, and 1 I keep in my back pocket at work. The tester itself handles all the basic measurements one needs to diagnose or troubleshoot problems. It's not complicated and very intuitive in terms of operation. The small size makes it easy to carry in pant or jacket pockets. Rugged construction that withstands the elements only adds to the value. Handy man
It has a fast rate for determining ac or dc voltage to readouts. Slim design fits my hand perfectly with it holding the positive prob for keeping your eyes on all features; ground, testing item and meter readout. The hold button is nice too.

Absolute best meter I have
I first used this meter in the US Navy while working as an electrician. Most of my work was on generators after hurricanes. The convenience of having volt ohm and amp meter in one made it an invaluable tool. Having retired from the navy and now an electrician for the city, I find that I still rely heavily on this meter. In fact I have convinved the entire crew to switch to this meter. Can't say enough about this meter. It is surely a must have for any toolbag.

Best meter hands down!
I bought this meter about a two years ago and I work in some very harsh conditions, anywhere from windturbines and big outside industrial construction jobs to commercial and even residential jobs. This tool is hands down one of the best meters for most applications! It's simplistic and extremely durable! Also it has never failed to perform. I recommend this meter to every electrician I come in contact with and will continue to do so! Thanks Fluke for a great experience!

Excellent Tester for new to experienced Workers
I love this tester. I have been an electrician for about 10 years and love the versatility of it. I have other fluke testers but the compact design make this a meter you can carry in your back pocket. The amp tester is easy to use in hard places where a clamp cant get. I would recommend this meter to guys coming into the trade and seasons workers who need something a little more convenient. Fluke always knocks it out the park.
