What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the fan's powerful air movement, quiet operation even at maximum speed, and sleek modern design that fits transitional and outdoor settings. The DC motor impresses with energy efficiency, and the bright, dimmable light is frequently highlighted as excellent. However, many report remote control frustration—unreliable connectivity, delayed responses, and difficulty pairing. Installation presents challenges too, with awkward blade handling and confusing wiring in tight spaces. A few experience motor failure or complete remote failure, though these remain isolated. Despite operational drawbacks, most customers consider the performance and aesthetics worthwhile.

I read as we all do numerous reviews before purchase because we all try to make sound choices. The negative reviews I have read disheartened me and almost swayed me away. Good thing I bought. Some of the bad comments like there is no conformation beep or an easy way to go to the highest seeps are incorrect either due to not reading the owners manual or product improvements. To turn off the fan there are 2 ways push the walk away button that shuts off the fan & light after 1 minute allowing you t...
Beware: two versions
You'll notice by reading the reviews on this fan, that some state the install is simple and others state it's very difficult. It's both. I purchases two of these at the same time from the same store. I noticed a few minor differences on the box, but the model numbers, specs, etc were all the same (more on this later). Because of the way the blades are designed, you will do most of the assembly on the floor and then have to lift the entire fan up at once to install at the ceiling (unlike othe...
Excellent Ceiling Fan!
I purchased this ceiling fan after comparing cost/functionality and energy savings at various places (both brick and mortar and online) and LOVE this fan! For the money, you will not find a better DC fan out there. This fan uses 70% less electricity than standard ceiling fans and works great... you certainly notice the difference in its quiet operation and air flow capabilities. The fan looks great and is the perfect size for most rooms (yes even small rooms). I am currently replacing all the fa...
Almost Perfect
We purchased three of these fans for our newly renovated patio. 2 of them are hardwired (always under power with no switch) and 1 is on a switch. All of them installed easy enough, the first one took about an hour and half, the others were much quicker, about 40 minutes. The fans are practically black, so plan on that if you have not seen them in person. They work with Harbor Breeze down rods (and probably any other down rod). All of the fans appear to have a very slight wobble, I roughly played...
Great air circulation!
The fan works great and blows a lot of air. I had a different one that was actually a little bit more expensive that I returned because I couldn’t feel any air coming from it. I have the same fan on my back porch so decided to try it for my gazebo as well. The Biggest issue is the light will not work and I could not get it to come on brightly with the remote. Fortunately, my wife preferred it without the light anyway and it comes with a metal piece to put in place of the light. We use it in an o...

Goegeous Fan, Difficult to Install
The fan is amazing. It works very well. It’s beautiful and smooth and quiet. The light is a natural light. It’s an excellent fan really. The remote works well enough as well. You’ve just got to change the code on the receiver unit to match that of the remote. By default they are all “up” but that is a factory setting and the remote won’t work. They can be in any another position and they both have to match. Wiring all the grounds, to the grounds from the AC in was a nightmare. Truly a horrendo...
Covert Fans
These fans a low profile compared to the ones we replaced them with. Our old fans had a typical BIG motor, with a mesh outlet allowing air into the motor. These do not, they really look sleek by comparison and they are much lighter and easier to assemble as a result of reduced weight. The fan blades are tilted at an angle and mounted "inside" a cover and the blades are NOT reversible, but they do have a nice finished look on the top side as well. The light fixture is a unique LED assembly t...
Nice looking, quiet fan
I felt compelled to write this review after getting two of these fans, and noticing the review here where it was claimed the fan did not move air well. That's ridiculous. That fan was probably running backwards, in "winter" mode, pushing towards the ceiling. Even in the lowest speed, I feel the breeze beneath the fan when it's running in "summer" mode. I really like this fan because of how it looks, how quiet it is (unless the speed is 4 or higher -- then you hear the whoosh of the blades), and...
Prepare for a lot of work, but it's a good fan.
This is a nice fan for the price. It looks nice, is quiet and moves air, although in my installation (a rather tight coved ceiling on a deck), not as much as I would like. The light seems pretty bright to me although several reviews said otherwise. There are additional tools you will need including a stubby phillips head and a very small adjustable wrench or about a 6mm open end wrench. And yes, I've never installed a ceiling fan where the blades have to be attached BEFORE installing the fan. Al...
Pretty Good Fan
We are in a new home and needed 7 fans. I have heard that Fanimation was a good name in fans, so we took a chance and bought 2 - 1 for our living room and one for the family room, each over 400 sq ft. I really wanted the DC-motor (energy efficiency), LED lighting, and airflow (over 8800 CFM). Installation was a lot easier than other brands from Lowes and Home Depot. We were disappointed that the blades are non-reversible plastic and not wood. As others have said, there is a delay when turni...
