Good Quality Outdoor Porch Ceiling Fan
I live on the marsh in coastal Carolina. I was in need of a replacement fan for my upstairs unscreened porch. While my original fan was still operational, the salt air had severely rusted the motor housing causing rust flakes to fall off the unit and it was a real eyesore. (see photo). It's hard to find a sleeker modern fan but this one is perfect. Not bulky and while it is not a flush mount, it works well on average height ceilings. Looking to upgrade my bedroom fan, I decided to try this one because of the remote, extra features, and design. The fan was rather easy to install, and directions were clear, especially with the wiring process. Overall, I’d say it took about one hour, and the only issue I had was trying to get the screws into the collar that goes around the down rod. Quiet as a dream
Bought this to replace an old and loud ceiling fan. Liked the modern look of this one. There were many wires but the instructions were pretty good. It was challenging to try to connect 4 ground wires in one cap! Wound up leaving the mount one out because we could just not get it secured. Upon opening the box, I noticed how well everything was packed to avoid damage in transit. Inventoried all the parts and they were all present. Directions are pretty straight forward however I encountered several snags in assembly. Once the wiring is completed, it becomes a struggle to slide the receiver into it's place and feed wires through the area for placement. Remotes do not work after 2 weeks
Seriously frustrated. We bought 3 of these fans for our home and paid an electrician to install them. They all worked for about 2 weeks, and then the one in our bedroom got a bit wonky. The controller stopped working even though it was still lighting up like it was sending a signal. Eventually, all the controllers started doing the same thing. We are now looking to replace the fans. Do not buy this fan.
Best fan ever!
Excellent fan with ton of features; optional low the RPMs; love the color temperature changing light; the modern 3- blade look, the remote for ease of use; fully DIY. I love everything about it. I like it so much I am slowly chaning out all the ceiling fans in my home - this is the 3rd fan.
