What Customers Are Saying
The ceiling fan has a sleek, modern design and provides quiet operation and good air circulation, even at lower speeds. It comes with a remote control for easy adjustments, and the dimmable LED light, though some find the light output could be brighter. However, the installation process can be challenging, with unclear instructions, and the remote control feels cheap to some users. Overall, the fan is of good quality and effectively cools the space, though the lighting and installation may be areas for improvement.

Over the years, I have assembled and installed many fan. No problems ever. We usually buy Hunter brand, but the style of Hunter we wanted was not in stock that day. We opted for this fan, even though we were unfamiliar with the brand, because it was priced on the high end so we thought it would be good quality. We were wrong. First, this fan was a nightmare to assemble. The motor housing has to be disassembled in order for the fan blades to be attached. That was labor intensive and very time con...

You get what you pay for
Main complaint is the light doesn't last and is not worth replacing. Installation was a little annoying but relatively unremarkable. Removal is going fine - lasted about 3 years and now upgrading. Recommend a fan without a remote - makes install harder and is one more thing to break.
Thank you for your feedback, Ed. We’re sorry to hear the Aire Drop did not meet your long-term expectations. We understand how frustrating lighting i...

Fine for a while
Had this fan installed in 2019. Light went out and surprise: it doesn't take any type of light assembly you can get at the store. Had to contact the manufacturer to order a new light assembly So $200 fan, but $67 to replace the light when it burns out. Also very poor design with the glass globe. If it is stuck, there's nothing to grab on to to get it off.
Thanks for your feedback, Annie. We appreciate you sharing your experience, as it helps identify areas for improvement.

Challenging Install? Yes - Difficult? Not Really
After reading through most of the reviews I was worried installing it would be a nightmare. However, after several decades of installing at least 20 fans from multiple manufacturers at various price points I figured I was up to the task (I'm also a pretty handy DIY’er) NET: The fan went up in about 2 hours, not bad at all. As mentioned by others, the instructions, although not bad, are slim on details and had me scratching my head once or twice but was I able to figure it out by carefully re-rea...

Hands down worst experience with a ceiling fan
I waited a week to write the review to calm down a bit. Both my partner and I have installed many ceiling fans over the years. I can deal with building the fan itself, it was more complicated than it needs to be, but it's doable. The blades are super flimsy, which I suppose is good in case they break and fly off, they won't decapitate someone. Then it was time to hang it. We struggled with that thing for way too long before realizing that it was built wrong. First is that we discovered that if...
Better than expected
Our Emerson ceiling fan that was installed when we purchased our home 16+ years ago gave up the ghost. It was an expensive fan and we didn't want to spend that kind of money for a replacement ceiling fan. After looking at several models of ceiling fans, the wife and I decided to choose this fan due to the color of the motor assembly/fan blades, the light, and having a remote. We've only had the fan up for less than week and the weather is just starting to warm up, so haven't used the fan part m...

I'm not a fan
I believe the company packaged this product along with the "directions" in with the intention to mess with us. The directions are awful. Why would you have to put the blades put on first? And let's be real, they're not blades, they're pieces of cardboard cut in the shape of a fan blade. The receiver is huge with several wires on both sides so you can't easily wire and put housing up. Let's not forget that we are doing that while poking your head in between the blades because of the poor desig...

Modern Fan with Varying Light Kits
This fan looks great! Everything about it is modern. The things I like about this fan: 1. Sleek modern look. 2. Super quiet and moves air with ease. 3. Remote feature is nice. 4. Easy installation, minus a couple of missing steps to attaching the light kit. The dislikes: 1. In order to adjust fan blades, one must take the down-rod off and possibly unwire the fan to get the motor plate off. They designed it this way to make the blades encased in the motor. It looks great but makes it difficu...
Great fan after a fewmodifications
Thw good: The fan is very nice in the look, feel, and oberall qulity. It is muxh lighter ans easier to install than a standard fan. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The bad, but fixable: You must use the cheap remote to use the fan speed. I did not like this as i had my fan on one switch and the light in another. The remote is small and could be considered a code violation as you need to have light as you enter a room. If the remote is on your night stand, you are forced to...
Very elegant, but......
I bought 7 of them at once my local Lowes hardware store, for the installation I hired a technician, it was a very long and consuming time, no problem, but... the big issue with this fans is the frosty cover for the lights, without it the light is bright and more than enough, but.. once you put the frosty cover glass the room goes dark, I sent an email about this issue to Fanimation, the manufacturer and their answer was:" Hello, Thank you for contacting Fanimation. I am sorry you are not happy...
