on the box it says a 10ah battery but when I opened the box it was a little 2.5ah battery, I bought it on sale since Lowe's won't be carrying flex tools anymore, I manly bought it just for the battery and I feel robbed

I would give the saw a 4.8, but not the kit
I am rating this a 4 for the kit and the reason for that is that I think I got a lemon the first time. The stack lithium battery that came with this kit seem have communication problems with the brushless fan. When I leave fan running for 30 minutes and over, the battery indicator goes down to 1 bar eventually. The battery itself also does a blinking 1 bar, but it shows a full 4 bars when it's not connected to the fan. I didn't like this, so I ended up doing an exchange. I have the fan runni...

Powerful saw and stacked battery
This saw has power! Strongly built with metal parts. The 10 Ah stacked lithium battery lasts a long time and is perfect for this saw. A bit heavy. Sometimes I use the 3.5 or 6.0 stacked batteries I have from the drill kits. They work fine for most DIY jobs.

this masterpiece of a saw is so powerful yet so much quieter than others I've used. The cuts are so fast and smooth! I stuff my shop vac on the end of that handy adjustable dust diverter to make job cleanups a breeze! if I could give this 10 stars I would!

Wow! Heavy weight monster saw.
Spectacular saw with power equivalent to my sawcat from a battery. Unbelievable power from a battery powered saw with a 7 1⁄4 " blade. Rear handle control makes this equivalent to more expensive corded saws. Please note that this saw is heavier than my B&D Sawcat so you will feel your efforts by midday. The battery recharges over lunch allowing a full days work out of a battery tool.

Seriously low quality blade
this is supposed to be a demolition blade, I caught one nail and it tore the carbide completely off of every tooth on this blade. I got a total of 4 ft of cut out of it.

Only found 1 issue
Went to cut a sheet of plywood after taking saw out of box, the battery went on the charger and I grabbed a charged 2.5 AH and the saw shut down 4 times in a 5 foot cut, thought there was an issue with the saw but it NEEDs the bigger battery; further testing once the 10 AH battery was charged no issues but the claim of any FLEX battery will work ...NOPE

Bought New In February, Went to Use it For the First time after Charging the Battery and It it wouldn't Do anything. Battery Was Fully Charged , Saw is Dead.

Great saw
Great saw and good battery life. Used it cutting wet pressure treated lumber and the battery lasted about 5 hrs of almost constant use. Had to finish the day with a 6 Ahr battery. No complaints
