Power to Spare
After burning up three other brand hammer drills using an auger to make 1 inch holes in timbers, I read online Flex outperformed both the red and yellow brands. I picked up the drill drver combo kit with the 2.0 stacked lithium batteries. After a quick charge of the battery I tested it with a 15 inch long 1 inch auger bit on the endgrain of a pecan stump. An absolute ripper of a drill!
Power, ergonomics, rune time & control. It does it all and is my most powerful drill in my arsenal now, including corded models. These 2aH stacked lithium batteries aren’t like your average 2aH batts. They punch well above their weight. The handle is included because you need to hold on if getting aggressive. This thing will rip your wrist apart it’s got that much power. Great tool!

Drill lives up to its reputation
This drill had all the power one needs. I drilled holes with 1” Spyder auger and spade bits. It did them both in speed 2 with turbo on for the spade bit. I did not have turbo on for the auger bit and the drill stopped once but continued to finish after re-engaging the trigger. I then drove 5” size 30 Torx bit screws of varying thicknesses no problems. I finished with a 5 inch lag no issues. All done on speed 2, drill mode and turbo. This was done into 4 pieces of treated 2x6 glued together

Unbelievably impressive Drill driver

Awesome drill compact and powerful
Favorite drill ive ever used. I have mainly dewalt and had this before but sold it just due to using a drill so much and was just more convenient to use a dewalt. Picked this back up recently because i missed it and actually sold my dewalt dcd1007 because yea that is in the same league for power but so much bulkier. Previously Registered and Items Already Replaced
Had issues with batteries. Thought it was new. Couldn’t get a replacement as previous owner already had items replaced. I received it as a gift, Flex is not at fault. Thought I would be able to have them replaced with working batteries. I have to wait a while to purchase new batteries for the unit. I’m looking forward to being able to eventually be able to use the tool as I’ve watch many positive reviews on YouTube!

Backup drill
These drills are awesome. Bought one a few years ago and it is still going strong with no issues. The drill gets used regularly on the farm and at the house. The only reason I got this kit was to add a couple of the 2 amh batteries to my Flex selection, and it was cheaper to add a backup drill than the batteries by themselves. The batteries seem great, a little smaller and lighter than the 2.5 and offer more output. Understandably they do not last as long, but they do charge fast.

Reliability
I’ve used the 3 major brands for a while. I switched to flex because I used them in 2022 for gutters and loved it. I know as a first year electrician have had the chance to invest more in tools I need everyday. I go with flex and the reliability along with the cost makes it so worth it.
