So Easy Sink Pickup

Picked out a sink in the store, with a very helpful associate named Michael. He offered I could come back & pick up later if that was more convenient. Which it was for me that day. I stopped back the next morning at the pick up desk, it was ready & waiting for me. I was in and out of the store in less than 5 minutes. Great Experience!

Nice, recognized manufacture, but.................

The very limited 'sound deadening' is just that, very limited. I had to add 4 large sections of far better (thicker) sound deadening material to make any difference. Like others of similar design, those 'clips that are suppose to hole the basin to the laminate counter are close to impossible to work with and moistly impossible to remove if the sink has to be replaced! The lack of a typical Phillips head makes matters worse

Not durable?

I wish I could tell you how this sink is to use but I had to return two of them. I liked the clean look and ordered one for store pickup, opened it at home and it had a dent. I returned it and ordered a replacement, that one arrived with one back corner completely folded over itself. The packaging is just a box, no styrofoam or anything. I didnt have time to order a third sink and my confidence in it's durability wasn't great, felt like I would dent it just using it. I bought a new in box cast ...

Doesn't Sit Flat As Is

Finish is coarse compared to allen+roth. When I set it in place on a 1⅛-in quartz countertop, it only touched at the 4 corners. I guessed the attachment clips would pull it down flush. I ran a bead of sealer around the underside and set it in place. Then the anchor screws were not long enough.

not large enough

The biggest issue with this sink is that it wont fit a 9 by 13 inch dish. I like to soak my 9x13 inch glass dishes but you cant in this sink.

Enhanced My Old Kitchen

Just had this installed a few days ago, along with a new faucet. So far, I really like the new sink. The old one was a cast iron and white enamel -- high quality but older, very heavy and not looking great. This stainless steel sink, along with a new faucet, really changed the appearance of my old kitchen--I really like the finish of the sink. This Elkay was the second sink I bought for my kitchen project. The first one, by Kohler, was so warped we couldn't use it. This sink was also slightly warped but by the time the plumber had been to my house three times we were both frustrated beyond belief so decided to use the Elkay. The edges do not meet the granite smoothly - as I said, slightly warped. If I were to purchase this product I would have it taken out of the box at the store and check it first.

Nice idea, poor quality

We purchased this sink when we remodeled our kitchen. It looks great, nice and shiny. Great depth. But here is the problem. This sink is really not meant for use. It scratches very easily. When you read the directions it comes with, it states that you are not to use any chemicals in it. The chemicals they list are things like dish soap etc. anything that any person would normally use in a sink. After you do use the sink, you must wipe it out and dry it, because it will spot like nobody's busines...

Beware of fit

This will not fit a butcher block countertop because for some reason they made the screws too short. I had to rig up another way to fasten it, which I wouldn't have had to do if they would just make the screws longer.

Great inexpensive sink

Easy to install, looks great and wipes clean easily. The sink is light weight unlike the monster sink we replaced it with. The only downside is when using the garbage disposal the sink vibrates and if you have a lot of contents in the adjacent bowl they vibrate loudly especially the silverware.
