Rock solid performer

Love this equipment! The interchangeability of the tool makes this an efficient setup running off of a very powerful motor. I wish I hadn't waited so long to buy it! One minor nit to pick is that the batter is heavy making it back-end heavy. Once you get used to the balance, it's not an issue.

Good power for the job.

Used for the first time last week. Edged first then used trimmer. Both worked well. The battery didn’t last as long as I anticipated it would. Fortunately, we have other products so I was able to grab another battery and keep working.

Worth having

I finally used the trimmer section. The guard is small. This trimmer throws grass clipping everywhere. Do not have kids around and wear full PPE. This one will throw clipping to your face. The edger works great, no complaints. I own the Power+ 15 string trimmer, this works perfectly. If there was a wider replacement guard, I would give five stars.

Cordless Edger + Trimmer Works Great!

Only used both once so far, all is good. Same battery and charger as mt blower, so they can back up each other.

Excellent setup

I've replaced a corded edger and a gas trimmer with one battery operated tool with different attachable tool heads. Going to replace my 15 year old battery lawn mower with an ego also. Low maintenance, no fuel to mess with and no hard starts / pulls. Battery operated is the way to go.

Disappointed

I own the lawnmower....it's great. This tool package edges one side of my driveway and quit. Shippewd it back.

The amazing MHC1502 powered garden tool

The two most appealing feature of this Trimmer/Edger kit is that it's battery powered and that it connects with a variety of interchangeable tools. Powerful, Well-Built, Big Design Flaw

As with all the Ego products I have bought, this one is very well-built. I expect it to last for years of hard service. The power of the string trimmer allows it to cut down heavy brush with ease. So far, the spooling mechanism works as expected. The problem is the ridiculously narrow guard at the back, toward the operator. Two little things make this a 5-star tool

It's a very good tool. Powerful, simple to use, with quick to change attachments. Only two things that I see keep it from being a 5-star tool. First issue is that the bump feed trimmer head is very limiting in the line that it will accept. If it's not eGo it's a nogo. To use my preferred line I have to stop, turn the machine up, push in the bump head, and pull the line out manually. It's a pain. Second issue is the balance of the tool. It is very tail heavy. Was a great product

I bought this Power+ 15 string trimmer about 3 years ago and have been completely satisfied with its performance. It’s light weight, powerful, easy to use and re-string. However, I’m a bit disappointed after using it today. The bottom section of the carbon fiber shaft snapped in two while I was weed eating. I’m a bit confused about why this happened. I have found a replacement part online that I can order but it looks way to difficult to replace.
