This saw’s advanced, high-efficiency brushless motor delivers the equivalent power of a 45CC gas chainsaw that lasts up to 600 cuts on a 4x4 with the 2 included 5.0Ah ARC Lithium™ batteries. Get up to 300 cuts on a single charge with a 5.0Ah battery and simultaneously charge the second battery in just 40 minutes, so you always have a battery ready! The re-imagined chain tensioning system tightens your chain with the twist of a dial; no need to take anything apart to get your chain set properly. An aggressive 18” bar and chain for taking down large branches, stumps, and tall trees. The bright LED lights illuminate your cut to improve visibility. The EGO 10" Pole Saw Attachment and Power Head are part of the EGO POWER+ Multi-Head System. Built tough for efficient limb cutting. The automatic lubrication system lets you work until the job is done. The Power Head is compatible with all EGO Multi-Head attachments. The EGO POWER+ 18” Chain Saw delivers the power and performance of a 45cc gas chainsaw without the noise, fuss, or fumes. This is a useless saw

I'm on my second saw. The first one was DOA after the first use of cutting down a 16" dia. maple. EGO replaced it under warranty. The replacement was DOA after taking down an 18" dia. pine. Waiting to see was service finds wrong with the unit. All in all I got roughly 4 hours of use out of each saw. Save your money

Not as good as a gas-powered saw

Torque is not as good as a gas-powered unit, thus it does not cut as well.

Order Pick -Up

Would Recommend

Ordered an EGO Chain Saw. At pick up the box was pretty beat up but the desk personnel said all was good. Kind of embarrassing to give a gift in that condition. A lot of clear tape used to keep it together. Opened it on Father's day and found that some of the internal packaging may be missing. Instructions, warranty etc. all missing. Will be returning today. 😒

Great Battery Powered Chainsaw

The Ego Power+ 18 inch chainsaw is great for limbing and bucking small diameter down blow and other storm debris. I've only used it once so far, in the week and a half I've had it. I took care of two balsam fir trees that fell down during a storm. I was bucking 6 inch diameter rounds for the stem of the tree. The chainsaw is easy and comfortable to use. OK chainsaw.

Battery power still not there for serious cutting, but works for home owner minor cutting. Gets the job done for me. Easy to remove blade for cleaning.

Has served me well but recently stopped working.

I have been very pleased with the power and capability of this battery-powered chain saw. I've used it many times since it's purchase. Recently, the unit just stopped working. I'm guessing an electrical component inside the tool failed. I haven't contacted EGO yet, but I will soon. They have a 3-year warranty of their products, so I assume this will get fixed.

I bought the chainsaw online new from a national store. When I picked it up it was already assembled even though I didn’t pay to have it assembled. That was nice. Unfortunately when I registered the warranty for the saw and battery I see that both were manufactured 6 years ago. Contemplating taking it back for a full refund or one with a newer manufactured date

Takes a licking and keeps on ticking

True story, my wife is coming up the driveway and ran over the saw trying not to hit my "limousine" aka zero-turn. Outside of a crack in the housing the saw works great. Got it in the fall of 25 to replace the blue battery saw that quit working after about 3 years. Plenty of power and battery run time for me. At 70, when the battery runs out it's time to sit down and rest while it charges.
