Two years, worked great cuts well and battery last long enough to do a large yard, but recently the switch/trigger has been failing. The part that I needed is no longer available from EGO which is really strange for a tool this new. Luckily I found one online at a dealer. It is tough to install so we will see after it is replaced. Good power from 2.5 amp hr battery

I bought a few weeks ago. The 2.5 amp hr battery is sufficient for my need. I have used the string trimmer and blower on a single charge. The EGO 56 v x2.5 amp hr battery gives 140 watt hr compared to the Dewalt 20 volt 4 amp hr battery which gives 80 watt hr of power

I bought this about a month ago and returned it within a week. The string broke about 3-4 times with one fill. Then, it was extremely difficult to turn the head to reload.

This thing will blow your perm back. Highly recommend a good pair of safety glasses. Battery life is pretty good. Cuts through some thicker stuff too.

Not recommended

This is light weight, but the battery does not last long. I would need to recharge it twice for my quarter acre lot edges

String not advancing

So far I've been disappointed with the trimmer due to the string not advancing. I am not sure whether it's an issue with me or the design or something else. Tapping the head on a firm surface seems to do nothing. I've had to remove the string and reload it a couple of times to at least get some string out so I can do some trimming. If I am able to figure this out or hear back from Ego on how to resolve this issue, I will revisit this review

Cordless saves time!

Plenty of power to weed eat my yard and use the blower. Saves me so much time after corded yard tools.

Great buy

This has so much power. It also has an adjustable airflow, turbo, and light for battery life while using. Great purchase.

Cordless Blower Performance

Bought my power blower a couple of weeks ago, and was very happy with the sliding blower output, and the overall battery life was very impressive. I was able to complete my front and backyard cleaning with a single charge, and still have additional power remaining.

Doesn't cut well

The cord is too thick to cut well. I find the the grass lays down instead of being, cut, and pops back up in a couple hours.
