Good enough that I bought it again

I'd love to give this 5 stars but it doesn't cut well enough to deserve it. That said, I bought a second model 2101 to replace the one I got 7 years ago. The original still runs fine, but the wheels are ripped up (my fault for repeatedly pushing it along retaining block wall). Best battery powered mowers out there hands down

I started maintaining my dads yard not too long ago. He had this exact lawnmower. I was so impressed with the power, ease of use, storage capability, and operation time, that I had to buy my own. Not to mention the super fast charge time!! My dad also owns the leaf blower and the weed eater that work with the mower battery. Great value, well built and mostly well designed

I've had this mower for about a month and it's been through a lot between my and my neighbour's acreages this unusually wet spring. I have a lot of lawn. It takes at least 4 full batteries and in spring it's oftten 6 to mow the entire lawn here but I don't mow it all at once most of the time. With the rapid charger a second 5 AH battery from the CS1804 chainsaw, I can go back and forth mowing with one battery in the charger which will have its battery charged almost as fast as I can discharge ...

EGO Mower Two Years Later

I really like this mower. It replaced a Black & Decker gas mower that lasted a little over 15 years, but I hated dealing with gas, oil, noise, and smoke. The EGO cuts just as well as my old B&D (although it is inferior as sucking up debris and leaves) but at the push of a button. So why the low rating?? First Go

This is my first electric power mower after cutting my grass with gas powered mowers for 45 years. The charge time works great for my size lawn and it is easy to get out of the box charged and start cutting. I have only had it for a few weeks so over time will see how it performs but so far works great, My only regret is that I did not purchase a self propelled model which would work better for me in hindsight.

Good battery life, but clunky

I've had the mower for close to two years. So far no issues with performance or battery life. My two main issues is that it does not mulch well at all and I find it very awkward to maneuver. If my lawn is moderately long it leaves a thick layer of long grass behind, so my options are to use the bag (which is annoying), rake up the clippings and bag it (also annoying) or leave the clippings to get brown/dead over the course of the week, making my lawn look bad. Been wanting a Battery powered push mower for years and finally my gas powered one cost more to fix than I wanted to spend. Yea researched a lot and felt EGO made the best product but did like some others the issue being the others either had to be shipped or only sold in a branded store. Purchase was smooth as could be had curb side pickup which was awesome and quick. Got home got it out of the box and in about 5 minutes had it setup. Holding my review, want to give it a good one

I'm going to hold my final review until after I get a new mower. The first mower I received worked great the first time I used it. Decided I was never going back to gas. However, today, a week later it would not read the battery in it and would not work. Battery was fully charged, in fact used another fully charged battery I had from my EGO chainsaw and it didn't work either, both batteries worked fine in the chainsaw. Mower would just not read the battery in it no matter what I did.

Won't honor warrant

They try everything possible to not honor their warranty. Battery has been completely dead for a year and I can't get a replacement. I waited on hold for over 2 hours and then they disconnected me. You can ask for a call back but that took over a week and then I didn't have the tool with me, so they closed the case. Finally got a hold of someone and they said it wasn't registered properly so they changed it and closed the ticket. 2nd person did the same thing. 3rd person finally did some trouble...
