The new EGO POWER+ 16” Chainsaw delivers the power of gas without the noise, fuss, and fumes. This saw’s advanced, high-efficiency brushless motor delivers the equivalent power of a 40CC gas chainsaw that lasts up 130 cuts on a 4x4 (when used with the EGO 2.5Ah 56V ARC Lithium™ battery). The tool-less chain tensioning system allows for fast and easy bar and chain adjustments through independent dials, which are low profile in design and allow for cutting flush to the ground. The 20m/s chain speed allows for clean, efficient cutting and the automatic oiling system keeps the saw lubricated throughout the cutting application. For added control and safety, the saw is equipped with robust metal bucking spikes and kickback break with an easy to see brake position indicator. Experience Power Beyond Belief™ without the noise, fuss, or fumes. This bundle includes a 16" Chainsaw Chain, Chainsaw Bag and Safety Glasses.

My EGo 16" chainsaw

I bought this saw in 2023 and it is the saw I grab for first. I have 6 12AH batteries for my Z6 zero turn mower so when my 5AH battery dies I man up and install one of the heavier batteries and keep cutting. The saw doesn't take oil very well and it is hard to see the oil level in the bottle but otherwise I love this saw. When you need to cut a branch or knot off for the sawmill or wood splitter it is so nice to pull the trigger and do the work instead of tugging on a cord! All in all it has be...

Takes a licking and keeps on ticking

True story, my wife is coming up the driveway and ran over the saw trying not to hit my "limousine" aka zero-turn. Outside of a crack in the housing the saw works great. Got it in the fall of 25 to replace the blue battery saw that quit working after about 3 years. Plenty of power and battery run time for me. At 70, when the battery runs out it's time to sit down and rest while it charges.

Variable speed trigger takes some getting used to

Would Recommend

Used the saw today to take down some trees in the 6" to 8" diameter range. Had great power for cutting trees down and cutting them all up into "firewood" length. Every bit as I would expect from a gas saw, but without the noise or the hard start. Not a fan of the variable speed trigger--I'm either cutting or I'm not, so the variable speed adds nothing to the saw's usefulness. All in all, it is a pretty good value.

Carry it in my truck at all times

. I’ve been a woodsmen all my life and have operated a lot of gas powered chainsaws….this unit is light well weight, super easy to use and maintain. I carry it all all times in the back of my truck because I live deep in the jungle were trees are constantly falling on the road so no more getting stuck or having to turn around🤙

Ego Awesome - Lowe's not so much

Haven't used the saw yet but I'm sure it'll be great just like all my other Ego gear - a presumtive 5 stars. However, Lowe's is another story. Not sure what's going on with this company but it's nothing good. Saw was advertised on 11/30 for $249 online, good through 12/24 and showed 4 in stock locally. Drove to store, grabbed it and went through the self checkout. Price came up $399, which necessitated the attendant to call for an override supervisor. EGO 16" Chainsaw

Product exactly as described. Works well and is very quiet. Needed for talking down the odd tree and general property cleanup. Easy to use. Keep it sharp and check chain oil for best performance.

First, my experience with Lowe's was great. The chainsaw was delivered very quickly and the return process was easy. I really, really wanted to like this chainsaw. I read reviews all over the place and everyone seemed to be saying it was a great saw. It's very quiet and cuts well.
