Failed trigger

I bought this about four years ago and generally I've been really happy with it although the trigger did fail recently and I'm having a little bit of a hard time getting repaired under warranty

Order Pick -Up

Ordered an EGO Chain Saw. At pick up the box was pretty beat up but the desk personnel said all was good. Kind of embarrassing to give a gift in that condition. A lot of clear tape used to keep it together. Opened it on Father's day and found that some of the internal packaging may be missing. Instructions, warranty etc. all missing. Will be returning today. 😒

My EGo 16" chainsaw

I bought this saw in 2023 and it is the saw I grab for first. I have 6 12AH batteries for my Z6 zero turn mower so when my 5AH battery dies I man up and install one of the heavier batteries and keep cutting. The saw doesn't take oil very well and it is hard to see the oil level in the bottle but otherwise I love this saw. Takes a licking and keeps on ticking

True story, my wife is coming up the driveway and ran over the saw trying not to hit my "limousine" aka zero-turn. Outside of a crack in the housing the saw works great. Got it in the fall of 25 to replace the blue battery saw that quit working after about 3 years. Plenty of power and battery run time for me. At 70, when the battery runs out it's time to sit down and rest while it charges.

Ego Awesome - Lowe's not so much

Haven't used the saw yet but I'm sure it'll be great just like all my other Ego gear - a presumtive 5 stars. However, Lowe's is another story. Not sure what's going on with this company but it's nothing good. Saw was advertised on 11/30 for $249 online, good through 12/24 and showed 4 in stock locally. Variable speed trigger takes some getting used to

Used the saw today to take down some trees in the 6" to 8" diameter range. Had great power for cutting trees down and cutting them all up into "firewood" length. Every bit as I would expect from a gas saw, but without the noise or the hard start. Not a fan of the variable speed trigger--I'm either cutting or I'm not, so the variable speed adds nothing to the saw's usefulness. All in all, it is a pretty good value.

Carry it in my truck at all times

. I’ve been a woodsmen all my life and have operated a lot of gas powered chainsaws….this unit is light well weight, super easy to use and maintain. I carry it all all times in the back of my truck because I live deep in the jungle were trees are constantly falling on the road so no more getting stuck or having to turn around🤙

I could not be more pleased with it's performance. It cut through my logs like they were butter. Easy and safe to use.

Not as good as I had hoped it would be
