EGO EGO ZTR Homeowners Kit

I’ve had the 24” hedge trimmer and I love it. I had some overgrown flowering shrubs and I was very pleased at how well the trimmer took care of them. I didn’t push it with the 1” diameter branches but it didn’t have any problems with 3/4”. The weight is fine and it’s balanced very well. I got about 3/4-1 hour of run time and that works for me as I’m a 69 year old woman. I have an EGO string trimmer also and I recommend both products. Thank you.

Loved it

I used this hedge trimmer not only for trimming hedges but to cut off big thick weeds who’s trunks that were truly one inch thick. It was like a hot knife going through butter. Saved me a lot of time.

I was amazed at the Power!

I recently purchased the EGO Hedge Trimmer with a bit of reluctance as I'm approaching 80 and was use to the gas "things". I dreaded to use my gas hedge trimmer as my arms and shoulders would ache for a days due to the weight and vibrations of the motor. So, the other day I tried my new EGO trimmer on a lot of bushes that needed trimming and some had thick branches. I was surprised! This trimmer did what I needed it to do, it was highly reliable and I did not run out of power! No aching arm...

I bought this hedge trimmer last month and it is a workhorse. It’s more powerful than my old electric trimmer and the run time is outstanding. No more cutting extension cords

Powerful light weight far reaching cutter

High power, long reach makes this more than a hedge trimmer. I used it along fence line where tough wild grass needs removing. Cuts better than weed whip down to the base ground of the tough grass bunched.. Can nose the end along bottom of fence line and flip the grass out without touching hog wire or barbed wire. Very good power management for a good cutting tool.. Even cuts fibrous Kahili Ginger stalks saving machete arm effort.

I bought this because I have multiple ego products. Which I have been very satisfied with. This product doesn’t disappoint. I have been an ego customer for several years. I did lots of research before I purchased my first product. Even know they are on the higher price point then other brands. These products are very worth the cost.

So far so good

Only used it once so far. But it was easy to set up, lightweight, and far better than the old electric one that I had with a cord. It cuts thick stuff like the bridal wreath that I was working on. Easy to hold above my head to do, and keep it level as well. Didn’t have to buy a charger or a battery because I already have those for my string trimmer and leaf blower.

Practical with Wide Teeth

I am happy with the wide one-inch teeth which allow this trimmer to tackle thicker hedges. Battery power makes it easy to handle without watching for the cord. Great tool that pairs with all my other Ego products.

Works well. Easy to use and not as heavy as I thought it would be.

Easy to use

I've owned a gas powered commercial string trimmer with a 26" hedge trimmer attachment I've used for years. Just getting too heavy for me to use easily, so bought this as a replacement. Lightweight, easy to use, and I seem to use it more often for those reasons.
