Build quality seems good. Line IQ and Power-Load seem to work. My yard is a medium size new build suburban lawn with driveway and sidewalk in the front and flower beds. I was skeptical but because the EGO systems ranked high on battery powered I thought I would try to get away from gas and I can cut my yard very early in the morning as the neighbors cant hear it. I have not been disappointed with the products! Fast charging batteries, Holds the charge well on 1/4 acre yard with juice to keep going. I guess now I will not return to gas!

I have used the mower twice. The first time, the 7.5 AH battery quit, and I finished mowing with the 5 AH battery. It worked well, and I could not tell a difference. When mowing my yard, I generally mow N-S and then E-W, or similar. The first time I mowed the grass was quite long and took more time than usual, and thus, the 7.5 battery stopped. Nice backup
Not a fan that it's not the same voltage as the mower battery. I'm happy to have a backup in the event the mower battery runs out and I can finish the mow. This was purchased as A memorial day sale so didn't really cost me extra. How could I complain about that?

For tiny yards only
Worked ok at first, but definitely not as advertised. I had to use the two batteries to mow half of what's advertised. This morning using two fully charged batteries I could only mow a tiny bit of my lawn. (see picture)The self propelled feature drains the battery even faster. Very disappointed.
Does the job
There is not much to say in a review of a battery after a week of purchase other than it charged fast and lasted comfortably a full hour of mowing. It is a little heavy for the size. You need to read reviews that are older to see battery life.

Peace of mind.
An extra battery is nice to have on hand "just in case". My original battery is 4 years old and still has power left after I mow my entire lawn. I figure an extra battery is kinda like having an extra mower around.

Does what it’s supposed to
Ego batteries last a long time and work properly. They are very expensive but I guess you get what you pay for. Aftermarket batteries don’t last as long as they claim and have other issues. My 3rd Ego battery and all work well.

Lighter & great for smaller jobs
Easy snap on & off. Like power indicator. Lighter & shorter run time than the 5 Ah that comes with blower set, but comes in handy for quicker jobs. Was provided as an added free accessory with blower purchase.
