Cut off Wheels are reinforced with fiberglass for increased durability to cut, trim and groove into a variety of metals including hardened steel Ideal for easily cutting or slotting bolts, screws or sheet metal, thin wood, ceramic and plastic.
The EZ456B includes 12 fiberglass-reinforced cut-off wheels designed to last 2X longer compared to the 426.
The EZ456B is designed with the patented EZ Lock™ system making accessory changes 6X faster than using a standard mandrel by eliminating the need for a screw and a screwdriver.

Dremel EZ Lock Cutting Wheels
I had some intricate restoration work to do on my classic 1967 Camaro that required cutting small sections of metal in a confined area and found these cutting discs to last much longer than prior discs. Also I found mounting the EZ Lock discs to my Dremel tool was 10 times easier and faster. They did a great job no skipping or hanging up while cutting. A must have accessory.

Dremel stuff can be obtained from other manufacturers but I've never found a product that works as reliably. Resist the urge to only buy 1 or 2, these should only be sold in packs of 12 or more. These little cutters get in where not much else can go.

Expensive, but they work well. I found that the sheering off problem others have mentioned usually only happens to me if I am putting excessive pressure on the cutting wheel OR using in an angled leverage situation where the mandrel is spinning on a slightly different axis than the cut off wheel (which it allows to a point because of the spring in the EZ lock mechanism).
