Quality is Sub-Par

I have blow molds from the 1950s that I put in my yard every year all through the winter time. This blow mold has had one day of rain, and 20 days of wonderful sunny 70 to 80° weather. What has happened to it? All of the paint has started to flake off the top. It is not a good quality mold and I would not recommend it especially at the $50 price point. I can’t believe that Disney and Lowe’s would sell such poor quality items.

Terrible Paint Quality

Completely disappointed in the quality of both Mickey & Minnie blow molds. When I received them there was black paint splotches on the faces, capes and shoes. Wasn’t too concern because they were not noticeable from a distance. After 2 weeks, the paint started to peel and continued to peel until I took them down Halloween night. Not a good quality for the price I paid. Design and paint colors were perfect for Halloween.

Paint Wore Off in 2 Weeks

I wanted to love these, because they’re so cute, but I have a Mickey and a Minnie, and within two weeks, big chunks of their paint has fallen off, what’s left is super faded, and the paint job in general was super splotchy with big dark spots on Minnie’s face in particular. They’re definitely not worth $50 apiece. If you must have, I would highly recommend keeping them inside your house.

Very cute Halloween decoration

This Minnie blow mold is perfect for Halloween season, and adds a perfect not-so-scary touch to my front porch. My daughter is obsessed with Minnie, so she was thrilled when I brought this home, and sad when I had to put it away! I prefer having a vanity of types of decorations for the holidays, so I was glad to find this blow mold at Lowes.

Horrible Paint Job

The paint jobs on these blow molds are horrible. Missed spots, oversprays, black spots speckled all over, running paint lines, drips. Some had scratch marks like dragged across the floor. And then the blow molds we have to put together ourselves at the high prices is insane. It’s an adorable figure but just getting too pricy these days

Poor quality

Highly disappointed. I was so excited for this to arrived and when they did they were in horrible shape. Paint missing from all over, overspray from the manufacturer including one shoe being darker than the other. When lit up, all the paint chips show everywhere. For the increase in pricing, it’s sad to see how poor made this was.

Horrible Quality!

If I could rate both Mickey and Minnie a 0 I would. I’m a sucker for anything Disney but these came in with scuff marks all over, missing paint, over sprayed onto other areas, etc. The quality is terrible!!!!

blow mold fanataic

Factory paint was horrible and touch ups were very noticeable especially when lit! Not Gemmy's usual quality!!!!!! I returned them since they were so bad.

Horrible packaging no bubble wrap or paper so they banged together and the paint is terrible with scratches
