Bad Rod Lift
My contractor installed this faucet with the rod lift. The rod lift is almost impossible to lift and once it does, the paint is scraped off the rod. The contractor adjusted multiple time with no luck of correcting the issue. So, I have an expensive faucet with the rod lift that is not working and with paint scraped off down to the metal. Beautiful product, but design errors
I love the design and fish of the Trinsic faucets. The Delta bronze finish is, by far, my choice when comparing manufactures. But…the drain lift assembly is terrible in design and not functional. The drain pull behind the faucet is on an angle and leaves almost no room when pulled before hitting the wall. It’s also very stiff and the finish was scraping when testing. Black gasket shows under faucet
I bought this faucet in two different finishes for four different bathrooms and I am having the same issue on all of them. There’s a black plastic piece that delta claims should fit inside the faucet but does not and can not physically fit inside . It shows on all of them when installed. It does not show this in any of the photos online and it makes the faucet looks cheap.

This product looks Great but is a catch 22 to install.
I purchased this Faucet as part of redoing our guest bathroom. It was the most attractive one we saw. However, it has a catch 22 in the installation instructions. It states that if you determine the PEX supply tubing is too long and must be shorter to create an acceptable installation, when cutting the installer accepts the responsibility to do so in a way that allows a leak-free joint to be created.
