Flex Torque Right angle Drill attachment

I have only had one opportunity to use it, but it was far better than the older right angle attachment I own - also made by DeWalt. I think the fact that it is made to be used with a hammer drill changes the dynamics significantly. My old one was difficult to use because it kept twisting out of my hand. This Flex torque one was much easier to control. I will be giving it a thorough workout at some point in the future when I am driving some structural screws through 2x12's into 4x4's.

Great for Tight Spots

Was able to reach compact areas in a car engine. Places I could not get with a socket wrench.

Drill Attachments (Right Angle)

Right angle drill attachments work well in narrow places, when drilling holes for things such as water lines and wires. It works great on impact drills and regular drills. Drill attachments were made of good quality and cost efficient. I could not find anything wrong with this attachment and it done exactly what I needed it for.

Dewalt FlexTorq Okay

Couldn’t get a 1” flex auger in time and bought this impulsively. The head adapters don’t stay on well and require you to hold in place at times. There are two settings where the arm spins with the drill or is fixed. I was drilling through a horizontal 2x4 with the fixed setting to hide wires for my mounted TV and the outside material gets really hot (go figure) when drilling. Does its job for tightening and loosening fasteners.

Great addition for your drilling needs

It doesn't happen often but every now and then you need to drill or screw something at a weird angle and these attachments are good to go just for that.

easy angle

Dewalt quality all the way,,, The right angle drive fits well and allows for reaching into tight places.

Great for getting into tight spaces. Used this to get down into some tight corners where old fasteners had failed and couldn't easily be reached. I was skeptical but took a chance and this drove then in without issues or even pilot holes. Though the 90 degree mechanism does heat up after extended use so I'd be a little worried about trying to run it all day.

Right angle FlexTorq

For work I was doing really needed a handle that was smaller or no handle at all. Really needed the flexible shaft with a ninety degree on end of it so it could fit in small places better. Otherwise works good.

Great build quality, should've bought it years ago

Worked great to get in a tight space in between some rafters with my impact driver. Feels really well built and the assortment of this kit vs just the angle unit was a great value when I bought it. Would recommend it and wished I had bought it sooner.

Not for drilling holes

Angle gear skipped on first use, angle head is no longer working. Reading INSIDE of package, the instructions say only for fasteners, not for drilling. Had I read through the entire directions, I would have known. However, NOTHING on the outside of the package says anything about not using for drilling holes. This limitation should be made obvious before spending money on a tool and then breaking it before finding out it is not meant for a seemingly obvious use
