Such Great Batteries

I have two of these batteries and use them on several of my DeWalt tools and have been very impressed with the power and longevity of the battery. I have used them with my impact drill, hand grinding we, and a 3rd party 6” chain saw and I rarely have to stop and charge the batteries before completing a job. I also found converters for my B@D tools and am able to use them with great success. Compared to other makers, the DeWalt batteries are far more superior.

I bought it as a spare so if I was using the tools heavily I would have one to use and one to charge. I've been very happy with the drill and impact driver that I just bought that use this battery.

Price deficit

I haves used this product yet, although I have a 6mh version. 5 stars but for the price they are asking for these. A product that is not much more than a rechargeable battery. Doesn’t get my vote. Because of price, I wouldn’t recommend it

Worked well until it didn't!

Worked well until it just died. Lasted a few months past the warranty expiration. I'.m having my doubts about the Dewalt batteries. Love the tools but the batteries are inconsistent.

It holds a long charge

I wished I would have known it was the same battery as my impact wrench. I probably wouldn't have bought it. I know I could return it but I can always use another battery. They need to put a list of which tools share the same batteries. If they already do, it needs to be more visible.

Strong battery!

Charged quickly adapts to another tool we have. I love that the battery life is shown on the backnby just hitting a button.

Dewalt 20V 5.0 ah Battery

Nice to have the larger amp capacity so it will last a long time. Works great with larger tools that require more AH to work longer so no need to swap batteries in the middle of project.

2025 Class-action lawsuit

2025 Christmas sales had a bundle in which two of these batteries bundled with a charger would get you two additional batteries. After placing the order, AI split it into two separate orders (with the originally purchased two-battery/one-charger bundle not arriving until 12/31) with no more discounts implemented. The web site, topclassactions.com created an article called "Lowe's faces another lawsuit over allegedly deceptive discount pricing."

I do have other brands of power tools but they are corded. All my cordless power tools are Dewalt. I’m slowly switching over to all cordless Dewalt power tools.
