Great deal with charging concerns

Picked this battery starter kit up during Black Friday, and got the free Jigsaw to go with it. I read numerous reviews where battery charging was an issue, but I though it was just user error. First battery I charged worked as it was supposed to, but the 2nd battery was a challenge. At first, when seated fully into the charger, no red lights came on. Burned my finger

Some of the other reviews are right. I have 17 Dewalt batteries, 6 Dewalt chargers, and 13 Dewalt tools. This kit is old stock Mid 2020. I bought it because of the price and free third battery. I did not have any 5AH batteries. After 3 hours of charging and still blinking, I burned the tips of my fingers. I had read the reviews. I was careful. Junk Batteries

I have bought 2 of these kits and both had bad batteries. The batteries show only 1 bar on the charge level indicator, so I put it on the charger. With the first battery it only flashed a couple times then went to full charge light solid. The second battery flashed the over temp light and then went to full charge. These batteries die in less than 4 years

I have a Dewalt 20V Max XR 5Ah (DCB 205) battery that will no longer charge. I can still use the battery in various tools (ie impact wrench, light, etc) but it will not charge on multiple chargers (have tried on DCB 115 and DCB 112). Other batteries work on those chargers. I tried to get it replaced by Dewalt but because it 3+ yrs old they wont do anything. I have a lot of Dewalt tools but will start to look at other brands with better reliability and service.

Warm battery

This product was the right price but when charging the battery light always just flashed but never turn green and was warm to the touch. I thought I had a bad battery but when I connect and check the battery status it reflected fully charged. Who was the engineer?
