Dependable and Comfortable to Use

I’ve been using the DeWalt DCF787 for a while now, and it’s a really reliable tool. It’s compact and comfortable to hold, yet powerful enough for pretty much any screw-driving or fastening job I need to do. The controls feel intuitive, and it’s easy to handle even in tighter spaces. It’s also lightweight enough that I can use it for longer projects without getting tired. Overall, it’s a dependable impact driver that’s great to have in your toolbox for both home projects and heavier tasks.

It impacts, it drives, what a surprise!

I have had this impact for several years now. And I have used it to do everything from concrete anchors to deck screws and lag bolts. It has performed very well for me and has only just recently let me down. It seems to hammer ok for awhile, but it feels like it loses its strength sometimes. Durable and hard working

I bought mine as a tool only. It had previously been a demo model for a retailer, but aside from a little exterior wear, it works perfectly. I have used it on several projects, including the construction of a large workbench. I went with DeWalt after noticing that the shop where I work uses (and abuses) DeWalt tools, and they continue working, even after several years of hard work.

Faster than the competition

After 5 minutes of putting screws in sheet metal it was obvious they spun faster than the "C" brand with the self-tapping screws. They will put in all but 5 and 6-inch structural screws with ease. Have two of them both working as good as new after installing thousands and thousands of screws and falling as much as 15 feet onto hard ground on numerous occasions.

It's a impact with the smallest batteries they make in the 20v with no charge indicator on the front and of course like most DeWalt stuff I seem to buy it's missing the belt clip the 7 1/4" saw I purchased was missing the rip fence it was supposed to come with and as a bonus it can't cut wood without bogging down and stopping these the change indicator on the battery, belt clip rip fence these little things were why I used to buy DeWalt this being my 3rd impact in the last 2 years and now I have...

Great Size Rotary Tool, for Light Jobs.

It's a quarter inch rotary tool, with impact function. It's small, light, and maneuverable. I was able to drive 4" x #10 construction screws with ease. Impact function engages at the end of screw travel, as rotary effort increases. Removed some #8 Allen Head Machine Screws that had been over torqued. Of the 8 stuck screws, 5 came out without issue. Pretty good deal!

I use an impact driver for everyhing I do as a residential electrical contractor. You can’t get a bare tool impact gun for this price, much less a battery and charger. They only used one LED, below the chuck. It’s made in China. Dewalt vs Dewalt XR

Good Day All! Like to start by saying, that DeWalt is by fare the way to go! But as fare as the basic 20V max to the 20v max XR there are little to no defiance. The basic is what it is and will do the same job as the more expensive XR modals that have the same spec, for torque and durability. The XR modals do have some more Bells and Wessels than it counters part that are seldom used., but are nice for bragging rights.
