questionable people out there

I bought the oscillating tool online for store puckup because it was a good deal on the brushless model. what i got from pick up was a very obviously heavily used, possibly broken, one that should probably get put in clearance if it works (half the black rubber was peeled off on the handle, and it'd been dropped in a bucket of drywall mud). but they swapped it with a new one, so no big deal. I am disgusted in the person that returned it in that condition and hope they didn't get full price refun...

Easy to use.

Bought it to cut some tap screws. It takes awhile but eventually I was able to take a hammer and work the head off. I'm going to do some siding repair and look forward to using the sandpaper attachment. Cuts wood well if the pieces aren't too thick. I'm glad that I bought it. Changing the blades is a challenge due to my being a woman and a senior. I can place it on its back and use the heel of my hand to lower the release.

Super Handy Cordless DeWalt Oscillating Tool

I was in the middle of a project and my corded one failed. I saw an ad for this cordless saw and got it at an amazing price. Got home and quickly finished my project. It has a long runtime and works perfectly. I have other DeWalt tools so there are plenty of batteries.

Great saw

This saw is perfect for what it is intended for. Use it on a roof cutting in valley or hip sheeting, building forms. cutting studs or blocking throughout the job site and for the homeowner small to large jobs. This saw does not need a saw guide, if you need one get a track saw or table saw.

I'm pretty sure I got a returned saw when I went for the but a 2pk of batteries get 2 tools free deal. It works so it's ok but a little annoying

Great for cutting carpet with the right blade

I had to tear out and remove carpet. A special carpet cutting blade was used with this tool and carpet cutting was so easy - so much easier than using a carpet knife. I was totally impressed. What a time saver! While it did a fantastic job cutting the carpet, it was not really usable on carpet padding, however. A carpet knife is still required for cutting carpet padding.

No Brainer for Small Projects

Add to the stack of DeWalt awesomeness! Easy to use saw when I don't feel like dragging a cord around. Obviously it's not as powerful as my corded one but it has no problem with 2x4s and since I have lots of DeWalt batteries it's a no brainer.

Works as advertised

Great power and torque for a battery powered saw. Works for my projects. May need the XR if you are a heavy user

DeWalt doesn’t miss! Compact, light, and SUPER useful. I work in HVACR, and routinely have to make cut ins for grilles, registers, and kitchen hoods. The DeWalt Oscillating multi tool has made these jobs a breeze. Easy, clean, and quick cut outs and I’m on to the next job. I’ve also used it for adding electrical outlets around the house and sanding down patches on dry wall. This tool is a must have in your arsenal! Throw away the drywall knives and handsaws.
