Read the box carefully before you buy this! I saw this online and picked it up at my local Lowes. Imagine my surprise when I got home and noticed that my $99 driver only came with one battery! Cheap for a reason

It's not horrible, it does what it's supposed to. Just, not very well. The impact has NO speed control. It starts fast, bogs for a second, then absolutely buries any wood screw. I gave up and did my entire deck with my 20v drill instead. And the batteries, as others have mentioned, don't have the level indicator on them. They work, but come on. I bought mine at a estate sale, did not know if it even worked, but after putting up a 30'x30' metal building with it with no problems dewalt will be the only battery powerd tools I will buy.

I did lots of research, bought and returned a few, I am keeping this one. For the price and performance, this is a great unit. It is not bottom of the line, nor top of the line DeWalt driver, just right for the average homeowner. It is brushless, light, and powerful. Snapped a few screws already, so be careful using it. good little impact tool.

so my first major project with this little guy I did was built a 5 step front steps to my mobile home and it did the job PERFECT. it drilled into the hard 2x6s and stringers like butter. I did have to swap out batteries with the extra one that it came with and was able to finish the job. I've been using it around the house like the outdoor panels and other small things. good driver get it.

Delivery service

Lowe’s has exceptional products at a great price. DeWalt is a great brand. My review is aimed at the delivery method. Not a big fan of FedEx. Said my package would be delivered on Sunday in which I knew was a long shot. I thought okay it will be here Monday, but still no package. Finally received Tuesday afternoon. This order was placed March 9, and delivered the 14. The order should go through the nearest Lowe’s, and shipped the same day. Delivery method is ridiculous.

Better than you expect!

I love this little mystery impact. It's light and does really well. I don't know why dewalt hasn't promoted this because it seems better than the 850 which they have promoted. I gave 4 stars only because the weak batteries (1.3ah) that the kit includes. But for the sale price of $99, you're not going to beat this kit. Always depend on DeWalt

Great impact drill. If you buy the adapters for sockets it works well for an impact wrench as well. Just wish it came with longer lasting batteries. 1.5 Amp hour is pretty small if you're doing a large project like a deck, you'll be changing batteries all the time. Good points are they are light and recharge quickly. No doubt that one will charge in the time it takes to run the other one down.

Unreal deal

Best tool ive owned... actually 1st dewalt product as well... was worried it wouldnt have torque needed as this is driver not impact wrench.... well it proved me wrong, us it on our pool filter housing clamp and it makes the job a breeze.... the fact that ya get two batteries, 20 v not 12, and charger and impact for 100 bucks.. wow just wow..... very happy
