The DWE6423 5-in Variable Speed Random Orbit Sander Kit with Hook and Loop Pad has a 3-amp motor that delivers between 8,000-to-12,000 OPM, a separate counterweight that reduces vibration, and a rubber overmold grip that provides comfortable sanding. The Dewalt DWE304 10 Amp Reciprocating Saw can be used for projects with wood, metal, drywall, plaster, plastics, rubber, fiberglass and composites.

DEWALT 120-Volt 3 -Amp Variable Speed Random orbital Sander with Dust Management

The 5 in. variable-speed random orbit sander comes with a hook-and-loop pad to make changing sanding sheets simple. This random orbit sander has a powerful 3-amp motor that delivers between 8,000 and 12,000 OPM. The separate counterweight reduces vibration while the rubber overmold grip provides comfortable sanding. A low-profile design allows users to get closer to the worksurface and the one-handed locking dust bag attaches securely to the sander to aid in dust collection, or the user can attach the sander directly to the DWV010 or DWV012 dust collectors.

This is my second Dewalt orbital sander over many years use. The first one is still running great but I saw this model on sale and couldn’t resist a second one on hand in times of location convenience in the shop. I highly recommend this product for many years of low maintenance service.

Excellente! I already have a DeWalt random orbit sander, but it has been working hard for 20+ years, so since I have lots of sanding to do within the next 6 months, I decided to grab another one. And, the price was right. Wow! I took this thing outta the box and put it right to work. I'll use my older DeWalt sander as a back-up, but this sander is "first string"!! It hits all the buttons for what I want it to do on my commissioned projects.

Easy for first time user of machine sanders.

I read instructions - that is important. But even if you do not, this sander was easy to use. Dust catcher was more effective than I anticipated. Weather hasn't permitted me to get to real work on my project - but I gave the tool and sandpaper a little trial out in one of the drier window's of time to see how well it would do.

Avoid Dewalt

This is the 2nd Dewalt tool I've purchased that has been of terrible quality. I replaced a part that broke, only for it to break again in a single use. Moving on to a different manufacturer, no more Dewalt for me. Wasted enough time and money.

It's yellow, and reliable.

it's yellow, and it works. I bought a cheap craftsman for a small job a few months ago. needed it to do some work last week. it crapped out after an hour. let's just say, " i would not recommend". I have other DeWalt products and have found them to be reliable. I was able to get the job done quickly with the unit. It aint fancy, and it aint cordless, but it was fairly affordable and should last me a lifetime.
