I have to say I usually buy only dewalt tools and never had a problem. So I went to Lowe’s to buy this set.( Lowe’s customer service is the worst) it took me close to an hour just to buy this after I was in the store. They say they are low staffed. Anyway, I get home and unbox it. Charge the battery and your good to go right? Not this time. Great kit for the money.

Would Recommend

I would give the 1/2 impact a 5 and the 3/8 a 4. The mid range impact has plenty of power for most professionals and DIY. I like how I lt feels in the hand and it looks like a great quality product. For the 3/8 although I love the ergonomics and the size of it I feel like it lacks the power. I got this kit on sale and the 5 ah battery is way more than adequate. Highly recommend it.

Great product

Bought this to do some break work. Charged battery and used it. Took off all for tires with no problems. Put them back on after work was finished and was amazed battery still had a full charge to it. Worth the money and it has a carrying case great to have if you get a flat. Will put it to the test on other stuff too.

Bought for father and son garage. My hsband and son are working on a project truck and were having a hard time loosing nuts and bolts. I found a great deal at lowes and for the duo and they work great i havent heard complains, they replaced wheels shortened a bed of a truck and worked on motor.

Great value in this kit

I used both sizes for lug nuts on the car with no issues. I used the 1/2” on some rusted bumper bolts from the 50’s with a squirt or two of rust penetrator….buzzed right off. The 1/2” either takes the hardware off or snaps it in two. Either way it’s coming off.

The 1/2 wrench provides enough torque for the car work, such as tire rotation. The 3/8 is compact to do work in a tiny space.
