I've had several corded routers, this has just as much power as any of them. I wish the power switch could be a little better but over great product.

No cords for drywall stilts

When using drywall stilts on a jobsite, I hated having cords from cut out tools and strip fed drywall screw guns. This had the same power as the corded and along with the cordless screwgun and strip magazine attachment, I enable to maintain capacity and capability while keeping a cord free floor. I called the store and told them I received an email about a pick up order for a store in Texas, but I am in Georgia. I told them they used my account and credit card. The lady on the phone clearly didn’t care and did nothing bc this was picked up by the fraudster. I will file a chargeback on my AMEX and get my money back. I was trying to help Lowe's out because now they’re out the cost of goods on the item, the chargeback fee, and the item.

Excellent tool for dry wall cut out

I purchased this tool to help with dry wall cut outs and repair. I am purchased a home that needed more than average dry wall repair in bathrooms, installing ceiling lighting fixtures, and many other repairs. I have used this tool in hopes for a cleaner cut when cleaning up holes and making the junction box locations. Excellent customer support

Cutout tool came with switch that was not positive on/off. Then would intermittently cut out. Customer warranty support was outstanding. I have been buying DeWalt for many years once committed to the batteries! This is the first product I have had any problem with at all. I was shipped a prepaid label to return it and was expecting 2 or 3 weeks lead time. In fact I got a brand new item in return within a week. Excellent!

Not what I had hoped for

I bought this a few days ago and for me it is worthless. The instructions that came with it provides little information. I used You Tube to learn about it. The bit kept coming out and I finally found out how to tighten the bit. But when I wanted to unlock the bit, it was stuck and I couldn't unlock it. I finally got it unlocked having to use a pare of pilers. I had purchased a larger bit to cut drywall around doors and windows, but couldn't use it because it only comes with a large, or small ada...

Handy Tool.

Tool comes in handy when working on multiple drywall cutouts without having to deal with dragging a cord around. The adjustable depth is a nice feature to make good box cuts. One thing I found a little hard to get used to is the on and off switch. It’s at the base of the tool making it a little difficult to use single handedly. Overall, made my drywall jobs a lot easier!

Great tool

I bought this tool for a job i have going on because my regular drywaller had some health issues pop up last minute, so i decided to hang and finish the drywall myself. This tool is very smooth to run and saves me a lot of time measuring and cutting boxes out perfect. The only things i would change is having the blower go out of one two holes instead of the four in all directions. I would also add a belt clip but other than that great tool!

With the depth gauge it works great and even without the depth gauge you can really use it to free hand and cut out whatever is needed. Made the job much quicker and easier. It did NOT eat up batteries like i had thought it would and worked well with both 2 and 4ah batteries. I would buy again if i ever had too.
