I was looking for a good blade that would cut panel board without splintering and the Lowes associate recommended this blade because of price ($4.99 at the time) and based off of feedback he had gotten from other customers. Cool looking, smooth cut on 3/4, not fit for 2x4

Crescent 7-1/4 24T Framing Saw-Blade is really a cool looking one, but the label "Framing" is a bit misleading. When I put it through its paces it performed more like a smooth cut 40T blade, rather than a framing one. I was a little wary of a blade claiming to be a "Nail Slicer" while delivering smooth cuts. I wish I would have found this blade about 30+ years ago when I was heavily repairing and maintaining older homes. The blade does everything it claims to do: It cuts cleanly even after/during contact with nails, brads and staples. I also sliced 3 screws with it. Flabbergasted!!!

I received the blame and from the get go it looked "mean", well engineered, and sharp as hell...good looking too haha. I'm a professional handyman. I mounted the blade on my cheap circular saw, not very powerful. First test (1st picture) was to see how it would cut a 2x4. Unconventional use but good performance

I wasn't getting enough use out if it in that capacity and it has a 5/8" arbor so I mounted it in my 10" table saw for some serious testing.
