Would Recommend

These ClosetMaid units are not realistically paintable without specialty bonding primers and significant prep. Standard primers (including shellac-based) failed due to surface repellency. Do not buy assuming you can easily repaint to match trim. I'm giving 2 stars begrudgingly at this point - because they are relatively easy to put together and fit in my space nicely, allowing me to save >$1500 as opposed to a professionally installed system. Solidly built and the open drawers are a plus

Solidly built. I like the open drawer design, as I use this in a linen closet and I like to allow the linens to air. It's a bit tricky to put together as the drawer rails are a bit confusing ... and the instructions have you put them on the sides after building the box (I put them on before, which made them much easier to access).

The material is so unstable and the drawer glides work on one but another is off center. I have put together a lot of dresser and drawer units over the years. Every type brand and color …. Low quality, drawers don’t track well

Really disappointed in the quality. Bought two sets of drawers as part of a large closet. After putting the first set together I realized my mistake in buying them. I returned the unopened box and am still figuring out what to do with the assembled one.

Its made out of particle board. Description not accurate. Also, one of the pieces did not have the holes (as all others did) for the screw. Had to drill it myself.

The grooves for the drawers don’t line up. The back is just thin paneling. The drawer sliding hardware is pretty cheap. Thought for the cost it would be a bit nicer. I’m going to try and figure out how I can get Replacement drawer because of course the whole thing is assembled now.
