Good, Strong, Well-Made Product

This was one of the easiest pieces to put together I have ever done. Great instructions, all the pieces were there, and everything fit together correctly. The only thing I did not like was that the nails fastening the backing to the shelves were too large. I found them to be hard to work with and ended up having to glue pieces of particle board back because I had accidentally placed the nail at an angle instead of straight in. This shelving unit is the exact color I was looking for and I couldn’t find it in stock anywhere else so I ordered it and when it finally came, long story on that, it had an extra interior shelf and no top shelf, so a few home drilled holes and covering up others it is up and works but definitely not top quality stuff. Stackable Wooden Storage Units

I liked the stackable units that fit nicely into a small space in my closet. The 6 cubicles per unit are large enough to store clothes or other objects. The 3 back covers are not very sturdy so if you hang these units from the wall as I did, you will need extra hardware. I used right angle brackets that were screwed in the studs on the wall. These units are heavy enough to make it necessary to mount them using the wall studs. Screw inserts or molly bolts would not be enough, I mounted 2 of these...

Nice decorative and storage piece

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this bookcase! It was easy to put together, and feels decently sturdy. I wouldn’t say it’s super strong and durable because I’ve seen stronger ones but nice and decent! I love that it has cubbies and gives more storage options, and I also like the looks of it. You can also add some drawers to it.

Should have paid attention to the bad reviews

With four stars and 83% recommendation I thought the bad reviews must be errors in assembly. I've built every piece of furniture in my rec room so I was confident in buying the storage cube. Unfortunately all of the bad reviews were accurate. Misaligned screw holes, pegs too big for the board size which splintered the surfaces, and even with two people carefully turning the piece as in the directions, the weak framework shifted and splintered in several places. Now we have a terrible look...

Is it worth it?

Shelves were too short, different pieces weren't labeled so you had to figure out which pieces were the same. I deliberately chose a cheaper option so I wouldn't feel bad about throwing it away in a year when I have to move, but again -- the shelves aren't tall enough for 3 ring binders. I definitely wouldn't have purchased if i had known this. But it was easy to put together but took way too long, and now I have to hammer in 60 nails after 10pm. Nope. A good product for the price

I bought three of these to go across a wall in my room. They are solid for the price. Out of all the screws that I put into these one did split the piece of wood it went into, but splintered off so the damage wasn't terrible. They came with screw inserts to cover the contrasting silver screws, but they didn't seem to want to fit very well so I used a black sharpie to fill in the screws and it blended them pretty well with the wood. Easy to build

It is what you pay for....

It is only $40 so you get what you pay for. The wrong directions came with mine. I bought a 9 cube but the 6 cube version directions came with it. So we figured out the pattern of build and just kept going with it and it worked out. Luckily they sent enough hardware for the 9 cube even though they sent the 6 cube directions.
