Works every time

I use this shock at pool opening and during the full season. I have never had an issue and know it is a reputable and reliable product. I actually prefer the bags over the bottles to reduce waste disposal I also use the boxes to cover the soil for my garden over winter as weed control. Thanks Clorox for being somewhat environmentally aware.

Check the application amount before you buy

Been maintaining my pool for over 20 years, most shock products are applied at 1 lb per 9-10,000 gallons. This one is 1 lb per 6,000 gallons. The 36 lb I purchased that should have given me 12 weeks of treatment are actually 9 weeks or less. Be aware.

Clorox Shock treatments are superior to any other.

I like the Clorox Shock Treatments best; however, I didn't order the Clorox Shock X-tra Blue by accidet. It's just the regular shock, which is very good and so much better than any other brand. I like the X-tra Blue by Clorox . . . it makes the water absolutely crystal clear.
