[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Over the past six BBQ seasons (2020 - 2025} my Char-Griller charcoal grill has stood the up to the bad, bad weather conditions in the Chicago area to helping me make some mouthwatering BBQ and chicken. Whether it's my family (a couple of racks) or a cookout for friends & family 4 to 6 racks), the Char-Griller grill handles it with no problem.

DO NOT BUY
DO NOT BUY. This is my 4th grill from Char-Griller, I loved the others, hate this.The ash tray is smaller than the grill and how they used to be on the others I have owned and it uses some funky design of handles to hold it in place. The problem is that the weight of the tray causes the handles to rotate out (unlike old design) on their brackets making closing the grill impossible when it is hot and you can't use both hands on it. Temp gauge filled with water the first night it was out.

My stepfather had this grill but I never knew how great it was till after he passed away and I was able to use it, it was already old but worked fine. One day, after using the old grill I decided to buy a new one, and if I was happy before I became super happy when I used the new grill and discovered how easy it is to grill. Best Charcoal Grill Ever

Not only is the grilling area large and sufficient to do ribs, chicken, burgers, hot dawgs, etc....it is also large enough to baste briskett. The coals last almost all day and even when cooking on off heat.....the grill is just superb! Keep building them and I will continue purchasing them:-).

Super Pro Grill, Good for grilling, slow cooking
Bought the grill 2 years ago and have been fairly happy with it. I use it primarily for grilling but it is large enough to use for indirect cooking with a bed of coals on the right side and the food on the left. I've had CharGriller grills for over 25 years, replacing them as needed about every 7-8 years. Good grill for the price. Only weakness is when it comes to smoking low and slow. The lid does not close tightly enough to maintain the smoke inside and out the top. Still works as a smok...
